Autismchan
| Foundation | October 2023 |
| Major Boards | /sperg/ • /b/ (NSFW/random) |
| Epic Wins | Being posted about once on reddit then slowly decaying into irrelevance, endless "is this place dead yet" meta threads, attracting exactly the kind of spergs who got tired of 4chan calling them spergs |
| Website |
—Anonymous user, immediately ignored
Autismchan was shat out in late 2023 by some reddit sperg who thought "what if 4chan... but SAFE SPACE for autists???" Spoiler: it's not safe, it's just empty.
Autismchan.net (also known as The Great Autist Exodus That Never Happened) is a tiny, wheezing, 4chan knockoff imageboard specifically marketed toward people on the spectrum who got tired of being called retards on the real chans… only to immediately start acting exactly like 4chan users anyway.
If you have found this site organically, congratulations: you have reached the end of the internet. There is nothing past this point. Please go outside.
History
In the glorious autumn of 2023, some reddit user in r/autism — presumably during a particularly productive hyperfocus session — had the galaxy-brain idea:
—Some redditor, moments before the worst decision of his life
Everyone clapped. The site launched with four boards:
- /sperg/ — "on-topic" autism discussion. Became 100% schizoposting within 72 hours. Indistinguishable from 4chan/x/.
- /b/ — Random + NSFW. The only board that anyone actually uses. The rest of the site exists to justify its existence.
- /vent/ — For crying about your life. Every thread is the same thread. Nobody responds. The poster does not notice.
- /meta/ — For complaining that nobody uses the other boards. Generates approximately one post per week, all by the same guy.
Peak concurrent users: an estimated 8–14, including the owner refreshing his own analytics page every 30 seconds hoping someone posted. This is considered the site's golden age. A documentary has not been made.
The site briefly achieved notoriety when someone posted about it once on Reddit. Traffic spiked to 14 users. They all left within a week. The site has not recovered and does not intend to.
Community & Culture
| Warning! Prolonged exposure to Autismchan.net may result in:
|
Autismchan's userbase consists of:
- Former /b/tards who got permabanned from 4chan for posting cp-tier loli autism memes
- High-functioning aspies who think "NTs BTFO" is still an epic own in 2026
- One schizo who keeps making threads titled "IS [CURRENT YEAR] THE YEAR OF THE RACE WAR?"
- The owner's alt accounts arguing with himself
Signature pastimes include:
- Arguing whether Asperger's is "real autism" or "fake autism for midwits"
- Posting the same train picture 47 times
- Writing 4000-word greentexts about being rejected by a barista
- Declaring "this place is dying" every 72 hours (it is)
Known Fauna
- The Lurker
- Has read every post on the site. Has never posted. Is "about to reply." Has been about to reply since November 2023.
- The Philosopher
- Starts a sincere, well-formatted thread about the lived experience of autism in late capitalist society. Receives two (2) replies. Both say "ok". Continues posting anyway. This is either admirable or clinical.
- The Schizo
- Writes posts that are 40% coherent, 60% something about frequency resonance and glowies. Paradoxically the most interesting poster on the board. Keeps making threads titled "IS [CURRENT YEAR] THE YEAR OF THE RACE WAR?" Has predicted three future thread derailments with disturbing accuracy.
- The Necromancer
- Bumps a thread from six months ago with "same". Does not elaborate. Leaves.
- The Doomer
- Posts "is this site dead" every three weeks. Has been doing this since week two. At no point has he considered that he might be part of the problem.
Behavioral Patterns
- Topic Collapse — Thread derails within 2 replies into either trainposting or the autism-is-fake debate
- Looping — Same discussion every 2–3 weeks. Nobody acknowledges this. It may not be possible for them to.
- Simultaneous Posting — Multiple users post identical thoughts seconds apart. No one finds this strange.
- Event Silence — Entire site goes dead with no explanation for days at a time. No one files a missing persons report.
- Hopeposting — "this place might make it bros" (it won't)
The Owner
Like every other failed chan ever launched by a reddit sperg, autismchan.net is administered by a figure known only as Nishi — an anonymous neckbeard who communicates exclusively through /meta/ stickies that nobody reads, apologizing for Cloudflare outages and promising new features that never materialize. No face, no dox, no LinkedIn, no nothing — just vibes, bad CSS decisions, and the faint smell of Mountain Dew Code Red wafting through the server room (which is probably his mom's basement).
Rumors on the three active threads per week claim Nishi is:
- A 20-something high-masking aspie who ragequit 4chan after getting called "traincel" one too many times
- Currently awake 27 hours straight because "melatonin is for NTs"
- The sole janitor who bans people for "ableism" while approving 400-reply threads about why furries are peak autism
- Secretly the same guy refreshing /meta/ every 5 minutes begging for "suggestions" nobody ever gives
—Every /meta/ sticky that nobody reads
Nishi's primary achievements include:
- Keeping the server running despite having negative lulz budget
- Writing Terms of Service nobody has read
- Personally responding to every moderation report (there have been four)
Nishi's greatest failure? Everything else. No epic raids, no news articles, no FBI watchlist — just quiet, soul-crushing irrelevance while Nishi lies in bed staring at the ceiling thinking "maybe if I add one more board..."
Boards
/sperg/ - Autism Discussion
Originally intended as a place for genuine discussion of autism spectrum disorder, neurodivergence, and related topics. Currently hosts:
- 47 threads about whether a specific fictional character is autistic
- 12 threads titled "does anyone else [extremely relatable thing]" with zero replies
- One (1) ongoing schizothread continuously active since launch that has evolved its own internal mythology
- A thread asking if the board is dead (it is)
/b/ - Random
The beating heart of Autismchan, if by "beating heart" you mean "a muscle that beats approximately once per day and is technically not dead yet." Contains everything you'd find on 4chan/b/ except the traffic, the memes, the energy, and the point.
Unique to /b/ is the Ritual Refresh — the act of loading the board repeatedly in the hope that someone has posted. Nobody has. You will do it again in four minutes. /b/ also discovered hentai at some point during Month 6, causing a 48-hour traffic spike before the site returned to its baseline coma.
/vent/ - Vent
A board for emotional expression and support. Every post is either:
- "i hate myself" (no replies)
- "i hate everyone else" (two replies, both saying "same")
- A 2,000-word stream-of-consciousness dissociation log that nobody reads but constitutes, statistically, the best writing on the site
/meta/ - Site Discussion
Primarily used to:
- Report that the site is broken (it is)
- Demand features (they will not come)
- Blame the low activity on everything except the poster's own low activity
- Read Nishi's apology posts about Cloudflare
