Autismchan was shat out in late 2023 by some reddit sperg who thought "what if 4chan... but SAFE SPACE for autists???" Spoiler: it's not safe, it's just empty.
Autismchan.net
Autismchan.net (also known as The Great Autist Exodus That Never Happened) is a tiny, wheezing, 4chan knockoff imageboard specifically marketed toward people on the spectrum who got tired of being called retards on the real chans… only to immediately start acting exactly like 4chan users anyway.
History
In late 2023 some reddit user in /r/autism had the galaxy-brain idea:
"what if we made 4chan… but for autists?? :)"
Everyone clapped. The site launched with four boards:
- /sperg/ – "on-topic" autism discussion (immediately became 90% schizoposting)
- /b/ – random + NSFW (the only board that gets more than 2 posts a week)
- /vent/ – cry about your life (endless suicide bait threads)
- /meta/ – complain about the other three boards
Peak concurrent users: estimated 8–14 (including the owner refreshing every 30 seconds hoping someone posted).
Community & Culture
Autismchan's userbase consists of:
- Former /b/tards who got permabanned from 4chan for posting cp-tier loli autism memes
- High-functioning aspies who think "NTs BTFO" is still an epic own in 2026
- One schizo who keeps making threads titled "IS [CURRENT YEAR] THE YEAR OF THE RACE WAR?"
- The owner’s alt accounts arguing with himself
Signature pastimes include:
- Arguing whether Asperger's is "real autism" or "fake autism for midwits"
- Posting the same train picture 47 times
- Writing 4000-word greentexts about being rejected by a barista
- Declaring "this place is dying" every 72 hours
The Owner: Insomnia (Probably)
Like every other failed chan ever launched by a reddit sperg, autismchan.net is run by an anonymous legend known only (allegedly) as Insomnia™. No face, no dox, no LinkedIn, no nothing—just vibes, bad CSS decisions, and the faint smell of Mountain Dew Code Red wafting through the server room (which is probably their mom's basement).
Rumors on the three active threads per week claim Insomnia is:
- A 20-something high-masking aspie who ragequit 4chan after getting called "traincel" one too many times
- Currently awake 27 hours straight because "melatonin is for NTs"
- The sole janitor who bans people for "ableism" while approving 400-reply threads about why furries are peak autism
- Secretly the same guy refreshing /meta/ every 5 minutes begging for "suggestions" nobody ever gives
"hey guys it's me insomnia, site might go down tonight because cloudflare hates me again lol just fyi :)"
— Every /meta/ sticky that nobody reads
Insomnia's greatest achievement? Keeping the lights on for 2+ years despite traffic that wouldn't fill a Discord VC on a Tuesday. Greatest failure? Everything else. No epic raids, no news articles, no FBI watchlist—just quiet, soul-crushing irrelevance while Insomnia lies in bed staring at the ceiling thinking "maybe if I add one more board..."
Notable Events
- Day 4: First tranny jannie drama. Mod resigns after being called "discord mod energy".
- Week 3: Someone posts a rare pepe variant edited with a puzzle piece. 47 replies calling it "ableist".
- Month 6: /b/ discovers hentai. Site traffic triples for 48 hours before returning to baseline coma.
- Ongoing: Weekly "we should raid /b/ on 4chan" threads that receive 0 (zero) replies.
