Gleb Vyacheslavovich Korablyov (often spelled Korablev) (September 13, 2001 (2 days after 9/11) - October 17, 2019; aged 18) was a Ruskie failure at life and drama student that decided to become an hero on VK Live (Russian Facebook Live) by shooting himself in the head with a Saiga 12 semi-automatic shotgun. After a pretty cool guy on JewTube uploaded a clip of the stream titled 1444, the video cemented its place on teh internets as the Ruskie version of Ronnie McNutt.
Livestream
No one knows why Gleb chose to stream his suicide on VK, a shitty site full of furries and weebs, but it's possible that he was one or both of those things. The full stream is lost media, but we know how it starts thanks to testimonies from VK users. According to their testimonies, Gleb was in some gay chat on VK until he told his friend Nikita what he would do; a livestream.
The livestream starts with Gleb having the gun on his lap, then trying to hold it steadily while failing several times due to getting distracted by notifications, then he sits on the couch and does strange things with the gun, at which point his friend Nikita calls him, making him get up from the couch to end the call, then the non-lost portion begins. (Take all this with a grain of salt, this information was spread purely by word of mouth.) (Remember to ARCHIVE EVERYTHING, damn it!)

Life before an hero
Before becoming the hero we know today, he was a student at Moscow State University. He was in drama classes and did a few plays here and there. Nothing special.
Motive
The reason why he committed suicide isn't known for sure. Some say he got his heart broken, others say it was because of his heart disease and he didn't wanna die that way. Either way, his death sparked some lulz.
Spread
The same day Gleb took his own life, a pretty cool guy literally named "GORE" uploaded it to YouTube under the name "1444" to prevent it from being taken down quickly, and then a bunch of kids turned it into a creepypasta, claiming that if you don't comment the date you watched the video, something bad will happen to you. Oh, and wouldn't you know, there's Rule 34 of him.
