By claiming, "That's not what they meant," a critic would have to literaly know what a person meant at the exact moment an insult was said, in other words, if you walk into an all black neighborhood and yell the word NIGGER at the top of your lungs, no-one is allowed to get mad or walk up and punch you in the face until they've properly interrogated you for 3 hours to understand what your intention was.
Like so many Southern, Florida racists, Doopie's whole argument of INTENT is done solely to empower the racist.
