- Face calls
- Group chats
- Empty Friend lists
- Emojis
- A ping system that, in good-faith, should be useful, but is abused by people with unwarranted self-importance to spam other users about shit nobody cares about
- Cross-site account connection to apps such as Facebook and Xbox, so they can sell more of your personal data

And, for just $4.99 $9.99 a month, or $49.99 $99.99 a year, you can upgrade your account with Facebook Discord Nitro for access to "premium" benefits, such as:
- 50 custom emoji that, unless disabled by a server owner, you can mercilessly spam site-wide
- Horribly compressed and animated avatars that no one will ever notice or care about
- Greater file upload size, from 8MB to 50MB. Now you can share your shitty N64 roms!
- The altruistic feeling of getting fucked by data miners, and still giving them money
- Badge showing you stole your mom's credit card
It's important to note many of these features were heavily requested by Discord's users, or, in the case of custom emojis, used to be free-to-use features. Nice paywall!

In late 2018, the staff of Discord realized that they weren't making enough money from auctioning off your data, so (((they))) added another benefit of Discord Nitro.
