Tsutomu Miyazaki, commonly known as the Otaku Killer (also known as The Little Girl Killer and The Nosferatu Killer in his respective country), was a particularly sick individual who was influenced by the dark arts of anime to begin kidnapping and murdering little girls between the ages of 4 and 7 in the late 1980s. Tsutomu preferred doing it with the dead, and his preferred method of murder was strangulation. After having happy fun time with his corpses, he'd dismember them and keep their hands and feet as trophies, and just for fun, send some of the remaining parts to their parent's addresses along with cryptic letters because he is a pathological sick fuck who likes to toy with those close to his victims. Tsutomu's whole gig would come to a crumbling close one day however when he decided to tackle two troublesome tots at the same time. Because the girls just get sluttier and sluttier these days, he easily convinced the younger one to strip down nude while he photographed her. This little slut's stardom didn't last long however as her buzzkill of a dad happened to walk in on this and attacked Tsutomu. Tsutomu managed to flee the scene but was unable to bag a loli to take home with the weaker grasp of his less experienced hand as his fapping hand was preoccupied trying to set himself free. Being a complete retard, Tsutomu realized he left his car behind and decided to return to the scene of the crime to retrieve his car where the pigs were waiting for him.
A search was warranted for his 2-room home and what the cops witnessed made the whole ordeal even more horrifying: absolute heaps, stacks, bookshelves and boxes of mangas, porno-mags and miscellaneous VHS tapes (5,763 videotapes to be exact) mostly consisting of animes and slasher films. Not only was this Tsutomu a pedophilic pervert, but he was a complete shut-in loser creep– or as the Japs simply know it: an otaku. Oh yeah, and his weird collection of hands and feet were also found. His murders sparked a moral panic in Japan similar to the moral panic concerning violent video games in America preluding the Columbine shootings.
Upbringing
Tsutomu was conceived as an incest baby between his father and his father's daughter and was raised to believe that his grandmother was his mother and that his mother was his older sister. confused? Tsutomu's parents were wealthy and operated a regional newspaper company, but like many Asian parents, they prioritized overly laborious working over all familial bonds, so Tsutomu felt he didn't get a lot of the attention he wanted. Things weren't much better for him in school, where he was ostracized for the deformity of his hands, which due to a birth defect, looked so slim and slender like vampire lord Nosferatu's mighty talons, so he remained reserved and quite. In college, he studied to become a photography technician, a skill he would find quite handy in his unforeseen career as a loli photographer. Tsutomu felt like the only person he could connect to was his grandfather, so when his grandfather died in 1988, he became even more reclusive. Wanting to retain something from him, he ate some of his ashes, getting his first taste of cannibalism.
Now being more of a shut-in than ever, Tsutomu acquired a masturbation addiction and having accepted pervertedness as a personality trait, he frequently perved on women at the tennis court to get some upskirt photos of their panties. He used increasingly violent pornographic content as an outlet for his loneliness and rage. At one point, his sister caught him spying on her while she was showering and he smacked that bitch up when called him out on it and did the same thing to his mother when she expressed her concern to him over the incident. Before getting a taste for blood, Tsutomu's heaping film and manga collection already included lolicon (both drawn and real) as well as real life child pornography on video tapes and torture porn.

On 22 August 1988, one day after his own 26th birthday, Tsutomu decided to treat himself to a late birthday present. Luring the dumb slut to his car, he drove her somewhere far off under a bridge in a wooded area where he sat alongside her for half an hour before strangulating her to death. He ditched the body somewhere in the hills near his home, making sure to snatch her clothes as a token of remembrance. Tsutomu felt this just wasn't enough though- he wanted a physical piece of her, so he returned to her decomposing corpse to collect her hands and feet, which he kept until the very end. Why stop the fun there though, she won't even remember it, and what's the fun in that? Promptly, Tsutomu ground up her ashen bones and sent them to her parents in a box along with several of her teeth, photos of her clothes, and a postcard which read "Mari. Bones. Cremated. Investigate. Prove."

On 3 October 1988, Tsutomu spotted a young little skank while patrolling in his car, to whom he offered a ride which she obliged. Tsutomu took her to the same place he snuffed the last bitch and took her clothes home with him in such a similar fashion.

Two months later, on 12 December 1988, Tsutomu abducted this 4-year old and drove her off to some parking lot and forced her to strip down in the back seat so he could take pictures of her. After getting his desired pics, he snuffed her out like the rest and then disposed of her clothes in a wooded area and left her body in the adjoining parking lot, where it was discovered three days later. On 20 December, Tsutomu wrote to her parents with a letter that read "Erika. Cold. Cough. Throat. Rest. Death. with letters cut out from a magazine"

On 6 June 1989, Tsutomu promised some little skank that he'd make her a superstar if she allowed him to take pictures of her, and lead her to his car where he killed her. Still true to his promise, he made her more famous than she ever would have been otherwise. Tsutomu spent the next two days engaging in sexual acts with her body, taking photos and videos of the remains in various positions until it started to decompose. In usual fashion, he kept the hands- this time drinking thy blood and taking niblets out of them (silly Tsutomu, those are human fingers; not chicken fingers!). Tsutomu also detached her head from her body; abandoning her torso in a cemetery and her head in the nearby hills. Fearing that the police would find her body parts, Tsutomu retrieved her remains two weeks later and hauled them back to his apartment, where he hid them in his closet. On 23 July 1989, when police raided his lowly bungalow, they found these dismembered body parts along with all the other incriminating shit.
The Rat Man
Tsutomu Miyazaki was sentenced to hang in 2008. Preceding this time, he illusioned himself with an alter-ego he called the Rat Man in order to fain innocence, absolving himself of his guilt claiming that Sensei Splinter was telepathically commanding him to carry out the murders. The killings as alleged to him by the Rat Man would bring his beloved grandpappy back to life, although this doesn't necessarily explain why he had to rape their corpses afterwards. Tsutomu's father refused to hire him a lawyer out of respect for the victim's families and he was given a legal representative who tried to lower his sentence to a life sentence by reason of insanity. Ultimately, the judge overruled any evidence there may have been to this and awarded him the death penalty.
