Oculus Rift is a virtual reality head-mounted display that is being developed with gamers in mind; however, it's primarily used by males who want to engage in virtual sex with their favorite anime characters. It is being developed by Oculus VR, a company that raised $91 million on Kickstarter before Facebook purchased it for $2 billion. After being sold to the advertisement giant, independent developers felt alienated and became disillusioned with the platform. Larger companies remain optimistic, hopeful that Facebook will put an Oculus Rift into the hands of perverts everywhere.
