Donovan Nicholas was a 14-year-old boy who killed his step-mom in a way that mimicked the worst creepypasta in existence after Jeff the Killer “took control of his body” and made him do it.

Background

It all started when his mom confiscated his phone because she caught him sexting with his online girlfriend who lived out of state (powerword: Maddisen), his Jane the Killer if you would, and she was equally obsessed with Jeff the Killer.

The Act

Some people kill for love. One fateful day on April 6, 2017, Donovan, pissed at his mom, started to feel a little kooky and began carving Jeff’s iconic stupid Glasgow smile onto his face and got changed into a cosplay consisting of black pants and a white shirt. He grabbed a kitchen knife, sought his mom and leaned in to give his mother a hug and then proceeded to stab her some sixty times and then shot her in the head with a 9mm for good measure.

Then Donovan called the police on himself and fabricated the story of his alternate personality, Jeff, taking over his body and forcing him to do it.

Donovan was initially sentenced to life in prison, but was let out in 2023 after just 6 years. That’s less time than the Slenderman Stabbers!
