iPod gone in suspicious circumstances? This page is about an alleged hero.

Byuu (also known as Near) is (was???) a programmer known for developing the "higan" SNES emulator, lauded for its accuracy and perfect replication of the original hardware, as well as his painstaking labor of love in fan-translating the Japanese RPG game Bahamut Lagoon. He also happens to be an autistic non-binary babyfur.

The reason he has an article is because he (allegedly) necked himself after very publicly posting a suicide note blaming Kiwi Farms for his troubles, creating a lollercoaster that caused angry Twitter trannies to waste money on DDOSing the Farms as well as promoting a boycott of CloudFlare. The lulz is currently ongoing.

Byuu on the Farms

This person was the initial instigator of the entire shitshow.

Byuu's Kiwi Farms thread was created on May 14, 2018, and proved to be unremarkable. The most notorious incident in its first four years of existence actually involved the thread creator rather than Byuu himself. It turned out that the author was in fact a spurned former friend of Byuu's who also happened to be a Kiwi Farms janny. After attempting to reconcile with Byuu, he tried to sneakily delete the thread, only for Null to quickly notice it and kick him out of the website. The thread was largely unremarkable, a whopping 13 pages were written on the thread which pales in comparison to some threads on other dead trannies. It's worth noting that some other "victims" on the farms had over 2000 pages worth of replies.

It should also be worth noting that Byuu participated in the thread itself and claimed that he didn't mind it and it had helped him grow.

	“	I'm not going to condone anything here, but honestly ... I appreciate that this thread was made. I really do. It put all my bullshit in one place and it was a bit of a wake-up call for me. I'm not perfect, but I've been trying to get my shit together as much as I could these past two years now. I'm not going to dismiss my friends, or those who happen to be trans, or furry, or on the spectrum, or whatever it is you guys dislike to fit in here. So I'm sure it's never going to be good enough. I *do* dismiss anyone who hurts another child or animal, though. Putting those people in jail is the one thing I support from here. I took the valid criticisms to heart and I've been making changes. I took down my old articles, I stay out of politics and online arguments, and I'm keeping my head down and staying productive instead. I'm working on making software now that people don't hate, and that aren't filled with my own bizarre hangups. I'm trying to pass on my knowledge so that someone can take the torch when I'm gone.	„

The alleged neckroping

Byuu jumped back into the public eye on June 27, 2021. Apparently distraught over the fact that his degeneracy was on full display at the Farms, he sent Null a rambling email out of the blue in where he tried to bribe him by offering him $120,000 in life savings as well as his potential coding skills. If Null refused, he would kill himself. He claimed that the Farms had made him lose friends, but really, does anyone believe he has friends?

Null, naturally, refused, and consulted his lawyer. Not even a few hours later he had posted a suicide note on Twitter.

Byuu's death was later confirmed by programmer Hector Martin, who posted a Google Doc on behalf of a supposed anonymous friend of Byuu.

So did he ACTUALLY do it?

We're not kidding about the cub porn. This is his fursona.

Nobody knows. Probably not.

Byuu lives alone in Japan and has little contact with anyone outside the Internet. Even to his supposed friends, his true dox is unknown or is otherwise being kept secret. There is thus no way to perform a welfare check on him, look for obituaries, or even know where exactly he is. There's a chance his rotting body is currently hanging from the ceiling at some decrepit apartment in the shitty part of Tokyo, but an ever bigger one that he's currently alive and holed up inside his house masturbating to cub porn.

The people who allegedly know for sure of his death have refused to elaborate or conclusively prove anything.

The aftermath

The saddest thing to have ever happened in Kiwifarms history.

Upon hearing that such a talented emulator maker was gone from this sinful Earth, Twitter nerds and trannies collectively shat their panties and popped a massive rage boner against the Farms and everything it stands for. They decided to take action by loudly screeching about the evils of the Farms, blaming them for a string of lolcow suicides such as those of Julie Terryberry, Chloe Sagal, and their self-esteem. They wasted truckloads of money on DDOSing the Farms, leading to downtime. They also realized that CloudFlare provides protection for the Farms, leading them to post angry replies under their tweets and call them Literally Hitler. It is unknown if this will cause the Farms to go the way of 8chan.

The shitstorm is currently ongoing.

A supposed friend of Near felt the need to chime in:

	“	Near did not commit suicide. Near was murdered. Victim of a lifetime of harassment. After an abusive childhood, and followed by community toxicity, Near was eventually targeted by Kiwi Farms. Members of that website make a sport of preying on the less fortunate, on those in positions liable to being emotionally abused. And they do so relentlessly. From the comfort of anonymity, of sitting in front of their computer thousands of kilometers away, they take glee in slowly destroying the psyche of others, bit by bit. To death, if possible. Near survived that. Many wouldn’t, but Near was strong enough to overcome that level of emotional abuse. But Kiwi Farms is relentless. Not to be defeated in their pursuit of utter emotional and psychological destruction, they went after who Near treasured most: their friends. Doxing some, directly harassing others, and even specifically seeking out suicidal people to target. That broke Near. After falling down a spiral of depression and eventually breaking off contact with everyone last year, I feared for the worst. Eventually, they were luckily able to get help and found medication that helped them cope with the psychological scars of abuse in late 2020. I first heard from Near again in late October 2020, and we again started having chats. It seemed things were getting better. Unfortunately, medication can be a fickle beast. It didn’t work forever. The looming threat of Kiwi Farms, of their power to destroy not just Near but also their friends, caused them daily anxiety that just wouldn’t go away. Worried that their friends would feel burdened by their condition again, Near decided to avoid the subject. I only found out about this relapse today. To the people of Kiwi Farms, this is a videogame. That the people on the other side of the screen are real makes no difference. They delight in the kill counter going up just like an FPS player would. Lacking in any empathy, they have no regard for the damage they inflict on others.	„

Possible dox?

A mysterious individual on the Farms known as "Queefer Madness" claims to have founds Byuu's TRUE and HONEST dox. Nobody knows how he got that information, but we will assume it to be correct. According to this dox, Byuu's powerword would be David Kirk Ginder. ​Because Encyclopedia Dramatica is gay and does not want to host dox directly, it can be seen in this link.

Several things do line up. Byuu has been said to have a husband, and has called himself "Dave" in his suicide note. Their faces also look remarkably similar except the guy in the dox has a shitty and scraggly beard. See image.

If this is true the grifters at Twitter have no excuse to not do a welfare check about right now.
