I've always supported an AoC centered around puberty, which I believe is the natural dividing line between 'childhood' and 'adulthood'. Therefore I agree with your enthusiasm for the AoC in Mexico.

What dlunytic says in his reply is correct, and 'sexual tourism' is the latest thing to give childlovers a bad name. Crossing borders, or traveling internationally, for the sole purpose of gratuitous sex with minors just adds weight to the anti's claims that childlove is not a sexual orientation. A sexual orientation involves more than sex...it involves an emotional aspect too.
Having said all that, it is good that there are places where you can have a real, loving relationship without legal persecution.

Well, nobody ever really told me about the 'birds and the bees'. My father died when I was 14, but I reckon he should have had that talk before then lol. He never did for some reason. Not that it would have been news to me. I was a very sexual child, and by the time I was 11 pretty much knew...what went where and why. Not sure when I learned about things like std's...probably in school somehow. Pregnancy of course was no risk...I was gay from the start.
But what can we do to help it become more accepted? I'm out to no one I know other than a few online friends I've met and will never tell someone I know in real life about my views on this topic. Does anyone have any friends with faces outside of the internet?
Oddly enough, yes. I'm out to my wife, and she supports me 100%. I wouldn't, however, recommend to any childlover to 'come out' to anyone without giving it a LOT of thought.
