Tim Kuykendall AKA quicksand0420 is a pedophile hiding in plain sight. This is exactly what makes him so dangerous. Besides being sexually-attracted to 8-year-old girls, Tim actually makes a pretty decent model citizen. He is the nice guy who lives across the street, the one who has a steady job, maintains a position on the local EMS/Fire Department, volunteers as a summer camp counselor for at-risk youth through his church, and has spent weeks actively volunteering for the Red Cross Disaster relief effort in the Gulf Coast during the 2005 hurricane season. If it weren't for his penchant for preteens, Tim would be the kind of guy you'd want your daughter to bring home to dinner.

Tim, as quicksand0420, is active on both the Kidzlandonline and Boylandonline pedophile forums. He serves as a "Big Brother" on Kidzland where he greets new members and helps them to acclimate to the forum. He has also used computers located at the Evansville-Vanderburgh Public Library to view these pedophile forums as well as to access child-model sites.

Most disturbingly, Tim has been active as a summer camp counselor with Camp Pyoca of Brownstown, Indiana for many years. He made an admission in a post on the Kidzlandonline site that, during his stint as summer camp counselor, he has stolen underwear articles from the young girl campers. In fact, he refers to himself as, "The Great Church Camp lg Pantie Bandit."

I'm a counselor at a church camp in the summers and really enjoy helping them. That doesn't mean that when I found myself at the right place, right time with no one around I didn't steal a couple pairs of pretty LG (littlegirl) panties.

Our Investigation

The following are the steps we took to connect the screen name "quicksand0420" to the real name, Tim Kuykendall:

We noticed that someone with the screen name "quicksand0420" was posting on several pedophile Websites.
We noticed him posting on a site called "Adult Providers Association" under the same screen name, which led us to his location of Evansville.
Under his pedophile screen name, he posted that he worked as a counselor for a church camp with children and that he played guitar.
We found that he had a Photobucket under the screen name "quicksand0420" which was linked to from this MySpace profile.
We found that that MySpace account was created by the person from this MySpace account.
We noticed that on that MySpace there is a picture of his ambulance stuck in a ditch, which he had posted about on pedophile forums under the nick "quicksand0420" and the caption from the picture said that he IS quicksand. In both the picture and in the pedophile forums, he refers to his ambulance as a "truck."
He stated on his MySpace that his nickname is quicksand.
From his real name, we were able to find out what camp he volunteered for, his location, and other information about him.

Will child love ever be accepted into mains stream or even not so mainstream societies? I think we can all agree that the answer is a resounding no.

Homosexuality was once considered a psychological condition. Mentally ill, it was considered and more than a handful of people were committed by friends and families. This was changed many years ago. I feel that this is the best we can hope for as child lovers.

My town included, non practicing pedophiles have been busted many times through internet picture trading. Some have also been caught by police pretending to be fathers of children coercing these men into meetings. These men and women have been police officers, firefighters, ministers, businessmen, politicians and church camp counselors. The more these trusted individuals are "outed", the more people will come to feel that it's an affliction worthy of compassion as opposed to a perversion needing a strong arm and a bat.

I do not think that what we feel is a mental illness or an affliction. I feel we may be so jaded by the world we live in that we seek out and desire the affection of innosence. Something so true and heartfelt that can only come from recieving the love of a child. And the truest most passionate form of love is sharing something physical. Whether that be a child sitting on your lap as you read to them, or falling asleep in your arms to sharing a romantic moment with them.

I know this situation all to well. I was 18 dating a 15 yr old. She was very mature for her age emotionally. Her parents found out and tried to press charges on me. I got out of it without being so much as in the paper, so no long term problems for me.
