John Hodgson AKA taf-kat AKA princesplaff is a frequent poster on GirlChat and an infrequent poster on BoyChat, two pedophile Websites. He has been arrested and convicted for possession of child pornography twice, once in 2000 and another time in 2006. He also collects pictures of little girls from people's family galleries online and harasses them with lewd comments about their children and relatives.

Hodgson is well-known in his musical circles and communities; however, his friends and communities do not likely know that he is a pedophile, although some of his lyrics refer to Alice Day, a day when pedophiles who like little girls celebrate being pedophiles.

I haven't agreed with much of turtles theories, but this one I can go with. I think that most men look at their daughters and fantasize about having them, but they are in denial.

Our Investigation

We noticed a pedophile on GirlChat by the nicknames of taf-kat and princesplaff. We also noticed that he had posted at the Danish Pedophile forums. Here are the steps we took to link that nick with his real name.
First, using his Email that he used at the Danish Pedophile forums, we did a search on Google groups and found him posting using the name "Bob Roberts," advocating pedophilia and posting links to pedophile Websites.
He was found using the same Email addresses with the name John Hodgson, location: UK.
We also noticed that he used the alias "sebastianmelmoth" to post on the Internet and announced that fact on GirlChat.
That led to several accounts on the Internet, which had more information about him and pictures of him and his family, and pictures of small boys who are unrelated to him.
This also led to a band called Blitzkrieg Bop, and a whois of that band's Website further confirmed the name of John Hodgson and gave us an address and phone number.
Additionally, he recorded a song for Alice Day for the pedophiles on GirlChat, which matches his voice and keyboards from the recordings of John Hodgson online.

When the feds ransacked my place they took away a whole shitload of what they termed "paedophile paraphanalia (sp?) hich included copies of Vogue Bambini and text only books including Kincaid, Nabokov etc.

They do that just in case I deny attraction to children.

As if I ever would...I'm PROUD of my sexuality! I feel priviledged!

A high-earning sales rep has been banned from downloading or taking pictures of children after police caught him with three indecent images on his computer.

A Teesside Crown Court judge said John Hodgson was "on a knife edge" yesterday.

The court heard he admitted to the authorities that he still used the Internet to access pictures of children, prompting a police search.

This followed a conviction in 2000 for making indecent images of children, a three-year probation order, a sex offender's assessment and treatment programme and five years on the sex offenders' register.

On September 23, 2004, officers found 64,000 graphic files, mostly containing children under ten, including 431 images of children fully or partially clothed, said prosecutor Paul Newcombe. But only three of the images were illegal and led to criminal charges, and these were of the least serious level in law.

They featured children aged 13 to 15, including children in "a variety of erotic poses", Mr Newcombe added.

Hodgson, 50, of Imperial Road, Billingham, admitted three charges of making an indecent picture of a child.

He told police he trawled the Internet and downloaded the pictures, tried to deal with his sexual feelings in a legal way, and believed they depicted adults who looked under-age.

Mr Newcombe said police also found a video of schoolgirls walking in the street, magazines with children modeling clothes and three pairs of children's knickers.

Dan Cordey, defending, said Hodgson would lose his pounds 30,000-a-year job if he was completely banned from using the Internet, which he had to access legitimately for work.

Judge Tony Briggs made a sexual offences prevention order prohibiting Hodgson from downloading or taking pictures of people under 18, and said he would not go to jail because he had already suffered public humiliation.

He gave Hodgson a three-year community rehabilitation order with supervision and ordered him to pay pounds 578 prosecution costs.
