Michael Gregg is a convicted sex offender who is also an activist in the effort to reform sex offender laws across the United States, claiming that current laws are unfair and unjust.

ZMan6919 AKA SexOffenderIssues AKA Michael James Gregg is a convicted sex offender from Georgia who is extremely active in a campaign to reform sex offender registration laws in the United States.

Gregg, who was convicted in 1990 of child molestation, claims he "accidentally" exposed himself to a child on a playground when he stepped out of his shower and peered through a sliding glass door while still nude. In another version he states that a child was looking into his window and saw him nude. He states that he neither knew the child, nor touched them, but that he was convicted of molestation anyway because the child ran home and told a parent. He fails to mention that he was masturbating in the presence of a child "with the intent to satisfy and arouse" his sexual desires. Gregg also states that he was molested by his brother when he was 8 or 9 years old.

He remains single and states that he trusts no one, and that as a result of his mistrust, he has never had a meaningful romantic relationship. He is an unemployed programmer and has stated that he is nearing homelessness due to his inability to hold a job because of his sex offender status. He shows no care or concern for his victim, but rather presents himself as being a victim of registration laws and requirements. Promoting the belief that sex offender registries should be abolished, Gregg often blogs about his views that all registered sex offenders are being discriminated against. He has stated that sex offender registries cause discrimination against the families and children of registered offenders, by denying them employment, housing and schooling, in addition to making them social outcasts. Active on several sites which promote sex offender registration activism, he also claims that approximately 90% of the offenders listed on sex offender registries are not sexual predators or pedophiles. In fact, he gets his "statistics" from a pedophile website called GirlChat.

He continually targets newspaper articles on the Internet with his made up facts.

These laws are cruel and unusual punishment! A sex offender cannot go to a fast food restaurant which has a playground! Why? We have just as must of a right as you to get a burger! Plus they cannot go anywhere kids congregate, which is endless (i.e. Amusement parks, Movie theaters, the list is endless)

Our Investigation

We discovered a convicted sex offender going by the screen name ZMan6919 while we were researching other activist organizations which are attempting to bring about a change in the sex offender registration laws across the United States.
In our search, we found that ZMan6919 was very active in the YouTube community with activism videos and several channels which cater to a variety of topics, including the campaign for SOR reform. We were able to identify several of his affiliations with those groups through his YouTube profile.
Our search lead us to a group on MSN which is for persons who are against current offender laws. There we found ZMan6919 posting as ZMan - GA, using the e-mail address [email protected]. This matched the e-mail address used in another forum in which he debated sex offender registration requirements and an article regarding offenders who use MySpace accounts.
A check of ZMan6919's Yahoo profile provided us with a picture he had posted of himself.Based on information ZMan provided in his blog regarding his own personal history, we were able to determine the date and location of his sex crime. A blog belonging to someone opposing the reformation campaign revealed that ZMan was actually Michael James Gregg, as listed on the Georgia Sex Offender Registry. We researched this information ourselves and were able to determine through photo verification that the image in the ZMan6919 profile on Yahoo is a match to the sex offender registration for Michael James Gregg. In addition, his year of birth matches the birth year as posted by Gregg himself in several of his ZMan profiles, and the year of conviction also matches his own admission through his biographical information posted online.

I don't agree with this. The world is an EVIL place and there is TONS of people out there who want and will harm you, not just sex offenders. Why don't you go after a CRIMINAL registry so we know what murderers, gang members, drug dealers, DUI offenders, terrorists, thieves, etc live around us? If we knew all this, you can bet we would ALL live in constant fear. Every person on the face of this planet could be killed by someone who poses a danger to them or their families, so what is your point?

Why are sex offenders being "scape goated"? EVERYONE WITH A CRIMINAL RECORD SHOULD OBIDE BY THE SAME LAWS SEX OFFENDERS HAVE TO OR IT'S DISCRIMINATION!!

For all the people being charged with Child p**nography, is the law checking the computers to make sure they are not infected with a virus? Many people are ignorant when it comes to computers, and if they click on some attachment in an email, their machine can become infected with a virus, trojan, spyware, adaware program which stores child p**n on their machine.
