Howie is a pedophile activist who speaks out against the persecution of boylovers, and believes that there should be open dialogue in online communities about the "benefits and need for" boylove sites. He is a member of and frequent poster on BoyChat. He was also webmaster for the Freedom Board. He is a staff member at Age Taboo and at one point did broadcasts on Sure Quality Radio.
Howie maintains a MySpace profile in which he claims to be a 15 year old boy named Luka, but in his posting through BoyChat he states that he was in college in 2003. It is believed that Howie has his age set so low in MySpace so he can have access to profiles belonging to children who are 14 years old and up on the MySpace site. The name "Luka" seems to be a copy of the name of a boy he met in Italy named "Luca". Howie once had a blog titled "New Young American", however it was removed from the site host for violating the Terms of Service (TOS) agreement.
Howie has also stated through posts on BoyChat that he has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and that he enjoys watching a popular American TV show called "So You Think You're Smarter Than a 5th Grader", no doubt for the fact that there are children on the show.
He has been in college, although it is not known for what. Also, in 2004, he took a trip to Italy to be an Au Pair. He was taken in by a family and took care of their children. He wrote extensively about this trip on Age Taboo.

It is important for the world to realize that we will never go away and that we actually make a positive contribution to the lives of other people, specifically boys. Sometimes society needs a little smack across the face in order to see the light. I believe that our struggle is like any other civil rights struggle throughout history and should always be regarded as such. We are an opressed, demonized and dehumanized people and that must change.

This is just another example of why i love boys. I was coming out of my therapists office, ironically, and I stepped onto the elevator to go down. On the elevator was a boy about 11 years old with his grandmother. They were leaning against one side of the elevator and I was facing them while leaning against the other. I had sunglasses on so the boy didn't know that I saw him staring at me. I suddenly got the urge to make a silly face and I stuck out my tongue sideways at the boy. He then did the same back to me and It was soo cute. We continued to make faces at eachother until we reached the lobby level where we both went out separate ways, never to see eachother again. Boys are so cute!
One of the reasons I know I'm a boylover is that boys just flock to me. They love me for some reason. I'm able to relate and be silly with them which is something they usually don't get from older males. I've noticed this since the first time I was a counselor-in-training at a day camp when i was 14. One boy that I used to walk with in my neighborhoold turned to me after we walked our dogs together for a few days and said, "Guys your age aren't usually very nice to boys my age." I was saddened by that but it only confirms and supports the necessity of boylovers in the community. Boys are so excited to find older boys and young adult males that take a genuine interest in them that the relationship is really amazing. I've been fortunate enough to have a couple of them and It was the happiest time of my life. Just walking my dog with that boy made my day and I know it made his.
