Steven Michael Jones is the founder of BoyBliss and still pays to host the site, although he hasn't been active in it's leadership since 2004. Some of the BoyBliss posters have speculated that the site was built as a research project for a college student, but Jones' posts on the board make it clear that he is a pedophile.

Jones attended Adelphi University and maintained a 3.9 GPA as a psychology Honor Society Inductee (Psi Chi). In addition to his studies, he has worked with children as a camp counselor (possibly in the Washington, D.C. area) and has tutored children privately as well. Much to the dismay of his Mother, Steven has met more than a few fellow boylovers in person, whom he had originally met online.

Even though Steven is not active on BLISS, he is known to post quite often on other pedophile websites geared towards those with attractions to boys.

When I came home a little while ago, I had a message waiting for me on my answering machine. I figured it was probably something from my mother or something. But no.

The message started with “Hi Steven. It’s Kevin.” I’m like “Kevin? I don’t think I know any Boylovers named Kevin.” Then as it went on, “I saw the movie Van Helsing today, and I want to see it again with you! It was really good.” And I realized it was my young friend Kevin, the boy I have been tutoring in math for the past year. I was so surprised that he had called me, as he had never called me before. He sounded so much different on the voice mail, a lot more mature and a bit shy.

I really hope this means that there might be potential for us to maintain a relationship after tutoring. I see other Boylovers constantly interacting with lots of boys, and it makes me wish so much I could have even just one boy that I could have as a friend, even if not a “young friend,” per se. I think I’ll call back Kevin tomorrow or Monday and see if I can set up a time to see the movie with him. I hope he had his parents permission to call. It would be disappointing, if they don’t want us to spend that much time together, but either way it’s nice to know that he is still thinking about me an took the initiative to call me.

The following steps have been taken in our investigation of Steven, which led us to his real name of Steven Michael Jones:

Found a pedophile Website named BoyBliss and began to research ownership of the site and domain. Ownership records showed that the site was registered to Steven Jones of New York.
As a regular poster on Bliss and other pedophile Websites, Jones' posted his E-mail address as being [email protected]. A check on Yahoo! provided a profile which matched the E-mail address.
Other personal information, such as his education and work experiences, were all gleaned from posts that Jones had made on various pedophile websites, including his own site Bliss.
