Synopsis: | |
Dylan Thomas is certainly a leader in the online pedophile community. Though he has publicly confessed to having molested a minor boy, other pedophiles online admire him, and support him. His posts paint him to be an well-educated person, but it is very obvious that his life, and his intent is insidious, at best. |
UPDATE!
December 22, 2009: Jon Schillaci was convicted and sentenced to 20-50 years in prison.
BREAKING NEWS!
June 6th, 2008: We have accomplished many things in our organizational history, but today an arrest was made that ranks up there with anything we've ever done. FBI top ten most wanted fugitive Jon Schillaci was arrested by the FBI in Mexico and transported back to New Hampshire to face outstanding charges from a molestation he perpetuated nine years ago.
We began investigating the webmaster of the notorious pedophile Website BoyChat last year. He was known by the pseudonym "Dylan Thomas." At the time, we had no idea that Dylan Thomas would turn out to be an FBI Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive. We first discovered the Thomas-Schillaci links back on January 7th, 2008. At first, we were skeptical that Dylan Thomas was Jon Schillaci but with more research, our team became convinced that Thomas was Schillaci and at that point, we knew we had to act.
At the end of January 2008, we made contact with the FBI agent in charge of the case. That agent, Laura Hanlon, was fantastic to work with over the last five months. Sometimes when you contact law enforcement, you get detectives or agents who think they are too good to talk or work with you. Agent Hanlon was and is the model that all detectives and agents should follow when dealing with private entities. Friendly, professional and took an interest in the connections we had put together.
We were in near constant e-mail contact with the agent about Thomas/Schillaci and his online presence from January 2008 to June 2008. During this time, we supplied information about Thomas/Schillaci's online activities, IP addresses, recordings, etc. We are very pleased with the arrest of Schillaci as we had dedicated much of our resources and time over the last five months to researching and monitoring his online activities. This man is pure evil and we don't use those words lightly. He is every parents' nightmare and our dream is that he will never walk free again. We have confidence that the justice system will finally finish Jon Schillaci for the rest of his life.
Over the coming weeks, we'll have more details about the hunt for Thomas, the work involved and the research in this article.
I’m not merely dangerous. I am the most dangerous man alive. (I expect to see that on the cover of Newsweek magazine one day: my picture, and the caption, in big yellow letters, “The Most Dangerous Man Alive.”)

January 29, 2007
Jon Schillaci AKA Dylan Thomas was released from a Texas prison on July 30, 1999. The following day, he says that he found BoyChat. He officially became webmaster of BoyChat on November 28, 2003 and served in that position until his arrest. He was previously a DJ on the now defunct Sure_Quality_Radio and was currently serving as a DJ on Boytalk Radio. He was temporarily relieved of his duties as BoyChat webmaster in late 2006 because he was arrested, claiming he had been in a barroom brawl in Mexico, where he was living. After verifying his identity and validating that he was who he claimed to be, he resumed his role as webmaster. He is also associated with the Wikipedia Campaign.
Five Years on BoyChat
Posted by Dylan Thomas on 2004-July-31 03:46:13, Saturday
All of these things are still a part of me. BoyChat is my community, where I form new friendships, where I engage in debates, where I make silly nonsense posts, answer surveys and post my boymoments; it is still my comfortable routine and my most pressing challenge. It is still where I go for companionship and support. It is still something I fight to defend, and try, to the best of my ability, to administrate effectively.
In five years, BoyChat has gone from that first "Oh, wow, I didn't know this was here!" after following a link from somewhere, to the most important place I have ever known and the most important job I have ever done.
He is a pedophile who has admitted that he has been charged, tried and convicted for molesting an 11-year-old boy. He claims that the child he molested loved him and that he was just helping him out of a jam. One must wonder, if that is the situation, how he ended up in jail?
Over the last 4+ years of his service to BoyChat, Schillaci has become an icon of the "boylove" community. Though his crass posts on Boychat were often met with criticism, plenty of "boylovers" looked up to him as their hero, the guy who had all the answers, the guy who had "been there, done that" and was going to prove to the world that "childlovers" were not a threat to children. Schillaci was added to the FBI's Top Ten Most Wanted list in Summer 2007 while he continued on as BoyChat webmaster and didn't change his online activities. Exceedingly arrogant, Thomas/Schillaci felt that he could never be tracked down or caught. Less than a year of being on the top ten list, he found out otherwise.
Quotes
Ah, I miss the Strawberry Festivals of old with their wanton licentiousness, the days when little boys and little girls were passed around like blunts, to be placed tenderly against the lips of each taker before all collapsed into a naked, writhing mass of debauchery and pedophilic strawberry delights...
Then again (darling), I didn’t require years worth of compulsory sessions, an hour twice a week, at barely-coveredby-insurance rates in order to do my little redecorating. I didn’t have to make appointments at all; never even needed to mention, “How about dropping by?” I’d just go about my normal life and there he was, knock knock knock and not can-I-come-in-may-I-have-a-soda but instead breezed right by me as though he owned the place (never charged me rent, good boy) and right to the refrigerator. If I ever said, “Help yourself,” it was usually a few minutes after he’d already done exactly that, and cracked him up.
Then again, I suppose any eleven-year-old feels entitled to certain liberties in the house where he lost his virginity.
His Criminal Activities
On January 29, 1989 Jon Savarino Schillaci was arrested in Texas for sexually assaulting two 11-year-old boys along with a 20-year-old friend and videotaping one of the assaults. He served 10 years in a Texas prison and was released on July 30, 1999.
During his prison stay, he corresponded with a family in New Hampshire who offered him a place to live when he was released. During his short time with them, he allegedly sexually assaulted their 5-year-old son. The parents reported this to the police in October 1999 and Schillaci fled town. He was later indicted by a Rockingham County, NH grand jury on aggravated sexual assault and possession of child pornography charges. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest in December, 1999.

Additional Quotes
In response to someone asking whether he'd give in to temptation, regarding having sex with young boys:
I don't know about other people's attraction to boys, but my attraction certainly does have a sexual component.
...I had a similar conversation once, rather long ago. Someone asked me, "Don't you worry you'll give into the temptation one day?"
My response was a cheerful, "Oh, I hope so!"
“Excuse me?” Eventually, people know me well enough to know that if I start laughing about something, it's not a good sign. Since I have a pathologically dry sense of humor, it’s when I have a perfectly straight face that I’m most likely to be kidding. If I’ve started laughing, it may be because I’m about to go for your throat. “What I did? Made him hate me? If I recall correctly, the last time he and I were together, he loved me. Adored me, in fact. Screamed and fought and had to be restrained when they took me away. So if he hates me now, it seems the change took place in my absence, not in my presence, so what does it have to do with what I did? If you want to know who made him hate me, you should ask about whom he’s been talking to in the meantime.”
Have boys do the heavy labor for me. First thing on the job this morning, I had to run a bunch of documents all over the school (stuff that needed to be signed and delivered which I really let slip the three days I was technically "not working"). Instead of going up and down the stairs four million times, I just grabbed the first cute boy I saw (a student of mine, actually) and pressed him into service.
