Tyra Imani Patterson is a convicted murderer and thief who—as a 19-year-old hood rat in 1994—made the poorly thought out decision to join her BFF and her friends in robbing some white people on the streets of Cincinnati, Ohio. After Tyra punched a woman in the eye and stole her necklace, the robbery quickly began to go south as her fellow robber, LaShawna Marciea Keeney, upped the ante by pulling out a gun and blowing out the brains of a 15-year-old girl named Michelle N. Lai.

Despite confessing to her participation in the robbery and attempting to flush the necklace she had stolen down her toilet after learning that the robbery had become a murder, Tyra is a desperate psychopath who continues to maintain that she DINDU NUFFIN and "falsely confessed" to the crime of robbery so the police would let her go home.
