Stephon Clark's funeral
The next chapter in a long boring story of police shootings of unarmed black men claimed the life of young Stephon Clark in Sacramento in March 2018. Almost everyone has stopped paying attention to these things because the victim's family usually get a pretty decent payout, even though a guilty cop is usually free to relocate and be an officer in your jurisdiction. But Stephon Clark had the benefit of having a loony baboon as a brother and advocate named Stevante Clark, and young Stevante took full advantage of this tragedy to promote his latest album (he's an aspiring rapper of course), and to display his crowd surfing skillz right next to the casket with his brother's corpse in it.
Background
Sacramento has its share of crime, and that amount is expected to drop dramatically with the death of young Stephon, who dindu nuffin the night he was killed, except aim his gun shaped cell phone at the police, causing a mild chimpout in Sacramento. As with so many other chimpouts, one person stood out as the coolest monkey in the jungle, Stevante Clark, the victim's brother. After two days of garden variety protesting, things nearly got violent near Sacramento City Hall, where a primate jumped on the hood of a frightened Mexican chick and a similar looking primate then smashed out the rear window as teh Mexican chick fled.
The funeral
Talk about putting the fun in funeral. The Reverend Al Sharpton was present, and Stevante took the opportunity of his brother's funeral to indulge in some purple drank and the resulting faggotry was broadcast for all to see. During the 78 minute long video, Stevante Clark exhibited the following behavior:
- Clinging to sharpton
- Tongue wagging the crowd
- Actually crowdsurfing (0:24:29-0:24:42, crowdsurf AND tonguewagging at 0:24:38)
- 51:22
- 52:24
...among other lulzy behavior. More recently, young Stevante was released from jail after an argument with his bitch, and his felony charges were reduced to misdemeanors, as you do when you killed the dude's brother. Stevante is getting mental help and we at Dramatica wish him well. And that he gets a huge payout too.
Video
Naturally this lulzy behavior was unexpected, so USA Today published the funeral on their YouTube channel, and you can be sure it won't be deleted:
Aftermath
Naturally the death of his brother and the associated uproar caused Stevante to behave completely normally and, as these things go, the officer was tried, acquitted and more riots followed in March 2019, a full year after the first set of riots. The thinking goes: the more rioting, the larger the payout from the local government. Sacramento government is full of incompetent boobs who live in the richest parts of town, and the riot gang finally took their totally organic protest from the crime ridden slums of downtown to the more white (and less hipstery) neighborhood of East Sacramento, a visibly affluent neighborhood, which was well protected and not much came of these riots.
