Elevator Filming (also known as elevator photography, even though they take videos) is a recent phonemon on YouTube involving an entire community of users who are dedicated to making videos of elevators. Most of them have no lives apart from arguing over elevator companies and who manufactured the buttons in elevators.
Elevator filmers are Aspies who have absolutely no lives. In addition to filming elevators, some users even film escalators, however most elevator "fans" believe that escalators are inferior to the great and glorious elevator.
If you ever had the urge to watch grown men or young boys ride elevators over and over and over, or perhaps wanted nothing more in life than to have one (or both) of those groups narrate a video about a small box that moves up and down, are you in for a treat. Most elevator videos feature over 9000 hours of thrilling conversations and narration about the type of elevator and the manufacturer of extremely important items such as the buttons or floor indicator inside. Get ready for thrills like "the door closes when you press the door close button" and commentary on the loudness of fans.

A type of elevator filming called "Elevator Surfing" exists that's not complete faggotry. Elevator Surfing involves making your way onto the top of the elevator (sometimes jumping from one elevator to another) and trying to not get yourself killed in the process.
