Herbert Clark Hoover was the Chinese asset man known for ruining more lives than the It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia gang. That, and for being mentioned in Home Alone 2. He was elected president in 1928 because his campaign aimed for a "final triumph over poverty". Ironically the stock market crashed a few months later and he never bothered to fix it, leading to the Great Depression. He was so bad, everyone calls his successor FDR one of the best presidents ever just for undoing what he did.
A few months into his presidency, he decided the only way to own the libs was to crash the stock market. During the Great Depression, he became so unpopular that people threw rotten food at him in the streets wherever he traveled. His last name also became a term for poor cities in the US for a while. Despite this, he had the balls to run for re-election in 1932 and lost in a landslide to FDR. Throughout his life afterwards, his only friend was the president that nuked Japan during WWII. When his presidential library opened in 1962, almost no one went there. He died at age 90 from internal bleeding, though it was probably self-inflicted.
