Correct the Record (commonly referred to with the acronym CTR) was a super PAC founded by fag David Brock. During the 2016 presidential election, CTR became notorious for its army of paid shills on Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook, among possibly many other websites, who attempted to 'correct' any comments seen as negative towards Hillary Clinton.

Further shenanigans from CTR included a public offering of money in exchange for damaging information about Donald Trump. This generated much lulz and ridicule, even from the mainstream media, and saw /pol/ spam their website's tip form to oblivion. In the end, with Trump's presidential campaign a success, CTR and its record-correcting Internet army quietly slinked away in shame, with their big donors millions of dollars poorer for their efforts.

CTR 2: Electric Boogaloo

Seems David Brock is a glutton for punishment. After wasting millions of dollars, becoming reviled even among the American Left, and a laughingstock among Americans, he decided to create the organization Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW).
