The game's roster of playable characters included Braixen, but not her evolved form, Delphox. This was due to Braixen's popularity among furries and nerds, leading to massive butthurt from many NORPs because... reasons that we don't know or care at all.
Besides, nobody likes Delphox because she isn't loli material.
Braixen's Game did eventually go on to be the Wii U's best-selling game of 2016, but being that it's the Wii U, it only took a dozen copies to achieve that.
