CHILDHOOD RUINED is a term coined by sensitive crybaby normies and nostalgiafags in response to the discovery of dark and terrible facts about the media they grew up with. This not only applies to TV or Film, but books, fairy tales (even old ones in the public domain), nursery rhymes, etc. This can also be accomplished upon the revelation that certain persons connected with their youth entertainment has done something wicked, heinous and/or stupid, to the point where they can no longer enjoy the media they once loved to consume.

Anons on the other hand grew up with awesome shit like trading cards and a plethora of awesome vidya games, so the only time they do get upset about their nostalgia being raeped is when some mongoloid attempts to 'reboot' a much-loved franchise, making changes that are so far distant from the property's original concept and essence. Recent victims of franchise rape include Ghostbusters, Star Wars and basically every modern superhero film being made now; films that are so lacking of inspiration and designed in such a cynical manner that they are an affront to what came before them.

How to ruin someone's childhood

• Spam the web with Rule 34 of their favorite characters
• Make some irrational theory just to mess with fanboys
• Make a YouTube Poop with characters spouting racial slurs
• Post something slightly suggestive about characters from the shows they grew up with
  • Alternatively, reference a scene from a childhood show in a sexual context
• Make up some batshit insane theory about how Gary killed his Ratatice
• Tell somebody about how Drake Bell from Drake and Josh is a pedophile
• Tell someone that the books you read as a child are actually ways for authors to project their sick sexual fantasies onto children
• Mention that Mario kills a toad every brick he breaks
• Tell them that their childhood media was censored, and then show them the uncensored version
• Mention an adult joke in a kids' show
• Tell them about a shitty reboot of a childhood show
• Remind them that Bob Saget raped and killed a girl in 1990
