  • Only Sysops and Editors may make AOTNs. Suggestions go on the Talk Page.
  • Don't paste the entire article for the AOTN feature. Use a short summary with a non-thumbed image.
  • Don't forget to put {{timeline}} at the bottom of the actual featured page..
  • No Animated GIFs in AOTN summary, the stress of showing a GIF on the main page basically makes the site DoS itself.
  • Please set something that is relevant to the current times.
  • Add the title of the new AOTN to the timeline of the previous AOTN.
  • Set AOTNs for TWO DAYS. Copy the link of the added AOTN and paste it for the second day.
  • Don't forget to edit this page and add the article's title to both days.
  • Use this JavaScript to easily generate the wiki markup for next month's Article of the Now.
  • AOTNs created before April 14, 2011 are viewable here.
