On january 13 2015 Jason begin was at a meeting with riverview when they informed jason that he would be placed back inside the riverview compound after a he had been living in a supervised apartment complex.

Mr.Begin then pulled out a knife and started stabbing himself before that had happened riverview had called the augusta police to be there as they moved Mr.Begin back to riverview.

The officer who arrived did so as Jason begin was stabbing himself. The officer fired a shot from her gun into Jason begin.

The officer who shot Jason begin is called Laura Drouin. she is only 22 years old. she is not working as an officer as they investigate the shooting of Mr.Begin. officer Laura Drouin had no idea that she would be walking into what had happened. she was there without back up and fired her gun because begin was a danger to himself and others and to her. I feel like she should not be punished for not being sent with back up and not knowing what was going on. she is also very young so she must not have been on the force long. i think she should be back to work as soon as possible.
