"Think of the children" is a fallacious phrase used in debate by (((them))) to make you feel morally obliged to the thought of child abuse or labor, in order to misguide you from the side effects of an argument's full picture. Even if there are less destructive ways of enforcing it.
It is typically used as an excuse for censorship and surveillance, similar to "anti-terrorism", but is also used to raise panic as a last-ditch attempt.
