Discord is the lackluster replacement for the fiasco that is Skype. Even though it's better in performance, has no limit to how many losers there can be in a chat group, and the whole ranking system makes it a little more bearable than Skype- It tries way too hard to be Hip and edgy, and the creators are fucking jewish SJW's.

In January 2017, Hammer & Chisel Inc., one of the many shell companies of Discord's owners, decided that selling user data to partners wasn't enough and launched Discord Nitro, a bumfuck idiot service. For just $4.99 per month, users have access to basic Slack features. These features include:

Custom emoji set to a profile, not a "server"
Compressed, animated avatars
Greater file upload size
Badge showing you stole your mom's credit card
