The Græt ED Civil War of 2018 was an internet sissy fight that began when lifelong drug addict and renowned stalker of women, Brian Zaiger, and minimum wage ED tech slave, SeeBeen, got into a stupid fucking bitchfight over the ownership of the Encyclopædia Dramatica "brand" (that was originally stolen from Girlvinyl anyways) and Encyclopædia Dramatica's constantly broken servers and data. With both faggots wanting to follow in the footsteps of the fallen angel, Zaiger accused SeeBeen of being a "Serbian gypsy" who had staged a "coup" against ED's supreme leader, while SeeBeen accused Zaiger of plastering ED with unnecessary ads and then using the money to fuel his drug habits and pay for gay male hookers – a revelation that surprised absolutely noone except SeeBeen himself.
After being ousted by SeeBeen, Zaiger did what any incompetent fucktard would do and hired an überskiddie named Conrad Alan Rockenhaus (to whom he had failed to disclose the true extent of his Jewry) to help him defect from encyclopediadramatica.rs and start encyclopediadramatica.online (which, funnily enough, later became the domain of the real ED), a clone of the site that succeeds at being even shittier than the original – mainly due to the fact that Zaiger is about as tech-savvy as your grandmother.
Zaiger got into EDF, by guessing the complicated password of "niggers1", and fucked with the admin controls, forcing a reset from a June 2017 backup. Zaiger also attempted to purge Encyclopedia Dramatica's Facebook group, removing the privileges of numerous mods and admins with the intent of running the operation with the unholy trinity of his coalburning girlfriend, Rockenhaus, and a random man who paid $50 towards Zaiger's legal costs in exchange for admin rights.
In other news, absolutely noone cared about any of this stupid shit and we all just wanted a working ED that isn't full of meta-drama and other such retardation.
Last Friday
Sometime last Friday, EDitor and wiki admin Schnitzel discovered that a Wikipedian named Conradrock had edited Encyclopædia Dramatica's shitty TOW page on January 5, 2018, and changed the link from encyclopediadramatica.rs to encyclopediadramatica.online. Currently unaware of Zaiger's insidious treachery, many of ED's completely incompetent editors and admins initially believed that encyclopediadramatica.online was a phishing domain that had been set up by Conrad Alan Rockenhaus for the purpose of harvesting EDiots' personal information.
Soon, however, it became clear that Conrad actually was working with Zaiger and was just as confused as everyone else as a result of being told only the parts of the story that Zaiger wanted him to hear.
Zaiger Destroys EDF2
On January 21, 2018, buttmad Zaiger managed to get into EDF2 through VX's account and proceeded to DELETE FUCKING EVERYTHING. As a result, the site had to revert to a backup made about 6 months ago. The mods are currently working very hard trying to clean the giant shit the junkie took all over the site.
Peace Breaks Out
At some point in late summer 2018, everyone looked around and realized that the war had ended, with noone able to say exactly why or when. Zaiger had been thrown in jail, Onideus had been banished, and things sort of chugged on as before. Only a bit more peacefully. Would this lull in hostilities prove permanent, or were the forces of darkness gathering their energies for a surprise offensive? Time will tell.
