Back from the dead, intellectually checkmated

Sup! This is the original creator of the Intellectual Checkmate page, back from 2007. It's amazing being back.

So, listen, my first contribution is to actually correct a little mistake I made back in '07. One of the parts of the "Dr. Anonymous" section of the Intellectual Checkmate article was added by me, as in not with the source material. NEVER GOON, I think you can actually do this via usermerge in the special pages. LMK if you can't and I'll do it myself. I just want you to get used using it. He said people on here were being mean to him for being a zoomer, and that is why he left, but...

Encyclopedia Dramatica users very rarely interact with one another directly anymore. (And when they do, it is usually outside of the wiki itself.)

Also, I am a """zoomer""", and I do not recall anyone here being mean to me for it.

So, what is the real reason that he left?

I have a strong sense that there are words being left unsaid.

He left the site because he doesn’t like our culture and was tired of wearing it as his costume. He’s a shartyfag; just read their article on us to get a better understanding of how they perceive us. He bought the .fail domain so that 764 and skibidifarms wouldn’t take ownership of it. Apparently his story is connected to Aifox and MarioMario456, although I’m not sure what the specifics are - I wasn’t there. This is elaborated more in User:NEVER GOON/Retirement Notice.

Wow! He was a janny on TWO wikis? And he fucked up both times lol. Welp, he decided to abandon ED for some cult, and he paid th' ultimate toll for it: cyberspace mockery. -Lawd Grumstein, November 26.

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of the people who edit this wiki now are zoomers, save for the three or four oldfags who drop in every once in a while.

His blog page, or whatever this is, gives a little more detail saying that he sided with MarioMario456 on the other fork of ED last year. I always thought it was the oldfags from EDF who disliked him because everyone on the wiki seemed to have a positive opinion of him. Anyways, I have a feeling this has to do with a lot of Discord stuff, but idk.

You can see some of his opinions on ED in the revision history for the soy wiki's article on ED. He says we have "foodists" on our site apparently, and that we're bad for "treating child safety like a fucking joke", but isn't one of their memes literally dead nigger baby? lol
