Hatsune Miku (初音ミク) is a program that you may spend thousands for, for it just to come without any instruments, pre made songs nor tutorials on how to begin your journey with creating weebo music. You can make any type of song using Miku, about any topic you could like, for instance depression and suicide, politics, shit nobody cares about, slutty ukrainians and even Tom Cruise if you feel like it.
Hatsune is shown to be a kawaii high schooler anime girl. She's 16 - barely over the age of consent in Japan. Some like to argue that Miku's age is up to interpretation since she's just a software but everyone knows what they really mean.
The vocaloid is also associated with two numbers, 01 - in 1914 Hatsune was one of the reasons the first world war began, and 39 - in 1939 Miku was an important part of German army. Because of her historical importance, she was even shown in Warsaw's WWII Museum in Poland.

Origins

Have you ever been wondering who made the icon we know today? No? Too bad. One day Sasaki Wataru woke up with an idea of a loli character that the whole world would fall in love with. Because of his generousity he paid KEI to draw the singer for him, so he could watch autistic cartoons to better understand what design is the most appealing for grown men.
The old guy named his OC in the same as all other Mary Sues are named - by giving them a meaning that needs to clearly hint on the character's superiority. Wataru went with "the sound of the future".
Back when Miku was still in development the otaku market was still too small to be noticed by anyone, so she was made with companies in mind.
Saki Fujita was the voice actor who bought the virtual singer to life. She had to record many samples of her voice for them to later be added into the program by Crypton Future Media - Sasaki's Company.

Design

Miku in her concept design was supposed to have some loose hair and some in a pig tail held with a bow shaped accessory.
Finally someone found old files about the SS general Hatsune Miku that the vocaloid was orginally inspired by and used it as a reference for the first official design, giving her long blue hair in high pig tails on both sides of her head and a leak to show that women make good housewifes and slaves.
Unfortunately some individual had decided to keep simplifying her design at any chance given causing her to look like a cancer survivor with a wig instead of real hair and a white shirt from a second hand shop.

Popularity

Miku grew in popularity thanks to Nico Nico Douga, a website written in moonspeak. One of the most recognised songs was levan Polkka" and it's also where the leak thing came from.

• Kikuo - one of the very few successful AI artists that made songs using this software. He specialises in making emo sad music for edgy teens and future school shooters. Kikuo loves to add rape, child abuse, cannibalism, brainwashing, death and other abrasive topics into his artwork.

The artist when on stage usually puts on a low quality wig in all colours of rainbow to make all faggots feel welcomed.

After the creation of the song Mesmerizer, that is speculated to have been created by Allah to take away the hearing of non believers, nothing new has appeared in the fandom.
All of the newest albums have to join the trend and include the two overused characters. Sometimes the self proclaimed artists attempt to add Neru as well. It's supposed to be a reference to the song Tripple Baka.
Although most current fans weren't even alive when the song came out, they still try to appeal to older audience and just like Disney get views based on people's nostalgia.

People may tell you she's not but don't let them fool you! She's a hologram. Japs have always lived in the future. Back in the day of Hatsune's creation, they already knew how Artificial Intelligence is going to work since they were the original idea providers for their Chinese cheap labour children to build.

Movie

In 2025 after the Minecraft and the Snow-white movie we had to receive another movie made based on already existing story. "Colorful Stage! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing" also called " Is based on a Japanese mobile game about 5 groups of teens going to school, creating music untill they all get AIDS and start seeing imaginary friends who teach them to make better music.
In the movie they introduce the viewers to yet another Miku. The only difference between her and the rest is that she's shy and emo. At some point she finds God and all her mental illnesses are cured.
The movie ends with the characters no one cared about dancing on the screen in the same 3D style and quality that they do in the game.

Appearance in games

Bringing up every single game Miku has appeared in is pointless. There's too many and most of them are fanmade dating sims. That's why we're going to focus only on the official games.
