Clickbait is a term used for videos that use misleading titles and fake thumbnails to reel in a braindead audience so the user can make YouTube jewgolds without any effort. Most of these clickbait videos are either TL;DW or some idiot catering to his own biased personal agenda and wants everybody browsing the interwebs to see.
Due to unfunny degenerates like Pewdiepie, there are no longer any good reasons to make any sort of quality effort on YouTube, it doesn't matter how much effort you put into one video, it always gets surpassed by some Swedish man-child screaming at a Steam early-access game. Instead, YouTubers now use the old trick of clickbait.
