To Aru Majutsu no Index
To Aru Majutsu no Index is a massively-overblown wreck of a light novel series worshiped by otaku around the world. It is one of the world's finest examples of OCD incarnate due to its poorly developed characters, overtly convoluted universe, lack of serious plot direction, and of course the author's unwillingness to just end it all. Also every fucking description begins with "Toaru" which is Nipponese for "A Certain". This is not only uncreative but amazingly exploitable.
Wait, what?
The series focuses around Kamijou Touma, an unlucky high school teenage loser who basically serves as a self-insert for the majority audience. He is ultimately accompanied by a bulimic blue haired magic loli nun named Index and her pet cat Sphinx. Despite this obvious source for pussy, he never manages to get any. This says a lot about Touma.
Basically, the Toaru world is divided between two factions: the "magic" side and the science side. Both sides compose of several 1-dimensional characters who wield amazing powers such as shooting lightning with coins and sucking vampire blood. Both sides hate each other but work in non-ironically similar ways - anyone would think, that it was supposed to be an allegory for something. But instead of giving any clever commentary on the modern world and its affairs, we are left with a colossal heap of bad writing and fanservice.
The series was adapted into animu in 2008, making the series more accessible for weebs who don't read. One would concede the novels are giant loads of garbage that no one would take the time to read. Sadly it's the novels that have been continued while the lesser of two evils has not seen another season in years.
Somehow it got a spinoff called To Aru Kagaku No Railgun, which focuses on the series' premiere tsundesu and her disgusting female friends, and is better than Index because it is much less boring and autistic. This was wisely made in a manga format to make it easier for casual readers to follow through with. It could be seen as a readable mess, compared to Index which is just a mess. It also got an animu which is literal fanservice incarnate.
Now there's another spinoff dedicated to that Accelerator guy. While it is clear that several fans could care less about a Shuffle-tier harem leader, the author enjoys trolling his fanbase into reading more and more boring stories of Touma and his not-waifu of the week.
Characters
Index's characters are every bit as inspired as you'd expect from what is basically an extensive harem series. Because the fucking series has literally over 9000 of these fuckers running around, we'll focus on the more important ones first.
| Touma Kamijou | Main character and complete loser in every way imaginable. He is blessed with an ability that basically divides by zero anything or anyone he punches. He is merely a fill-in for whom-ever is reading the series - just imagine yourself in place of him, and there you go.
He mingles with loads of girls and wimminz yet never gets laid once. Touma not only repels fun but also virginity loss. He gets amnesia or some shit during the series, which kills off any chance he had at developing. For the entire fucking series, he's a dumbass who just likes "helping people". Not only is Touma boring but he's also a liberal now - snazzy. Despite the series' mass of characters, settings, and plot devices, Touma is doomed to remain his boring old self no matter what happens. Any heroine he comes into contact with will never really understand that he's not looking for poon. He just likes to help people in need. |
| Index | Index Librorum Prohibitorum, a blue haired loli nun with an eating disorder. Rescued by Touma early on in the series, Index touts a "Perfect Memory" and holds a record of 103000 magical spells however this rarely proves to be of any use. Her only known REAL ability is eating more food than she shits out and acting as a pet of sorts for Touma. The pet also had a pet in the form of a kitty named Sphinx. Meow. |
| Motoharu Tsuchimikado | The 184375th clone of Guile, and general jackass neighbor of Touma's. He's also a hybrid of both Magic™ and Science™ powers.

| Mikoto Misaka | Resident dickgirl of the main group, and the series' tsundere. Shits lightning out of her arms with the aid of coins, and can do other electrical shizz including a form of flying. Despite these amazing skills, this is rarely extended upon and instead she is relegated to unadulterated fanservice. Starts off as some wonderchild of the city's school system, Misaka pulls off some fairly tight shit such as blowing up a bunch of research facilities and casually fighting off the goons. She also had 20000 clones made of herself for military use, roughly half of which were later destroyed in bloody fights once the military realized flat-chested girls weren't effective enough for distraction. Lulz ensued. Sadly this never amounts to anything as she finds herself prying for Touma's help when things get just too tough. Another ideal role model for women. While some may think she's sort of hot, one must remember her developed personality: she develops a crush towards Touma and basically becomes the series' equivalent of the creepy girlfriend meme. Despite this, she's probably one of the best things to happen in the entire series. In the volume NT5 a male character, Thor, disguised himself as Mikoto. Since it's been noted that he's able to disguise only as a male, it turns out that MIKOTO MISAKA IS ACTUALLY A DICKGIRL, making all her fans gay because they have been fapping to her. Thus, Mikoto wears shorts instead of panties to prevent her penis from being exposed. Great work here, Kamachi! |
| Kaori Kanzaki | One of the magic side's more interesting individuals. She is a wholesome Christian saint who represents balance and skill. Her conservative outfit follows the rules of asymmetry, which also happen to follow the rules of anime boobage. |
| Stiyl Magnus | Ginger magic guy who smokes a lot and is only 14 years old despite being taller than a nigger basketball player. Pipe organs and some shizz. I dunno really. |
| Aisa Himegami | Forgettable not-religious miko piece of skank who attracts vampires to suck her own blood. Yeah. At some point it was considered to make a spinoff focusing on her, but these plans were dumped once the author couldn't get the rights for Dracula or Nosferatu. Nobody remembers her in the series' context: in a series that compulsively documents every last individual to do anything, no one cares about Himegami. If you care about her, you're a terrible otaku. |
| Kuroko Shirai | The best character of the series. An ugly runt who sounds like a chain smoking frog, Kuroko is Misaka's room mate and a crazy lesbian stalker who's often seen masturbating with Misaka's plush bear on her bed.
She can teleport herself and other people - let the shenanigans ensue. Ironically she is the author's least favorite character despite being a good representative of the series. |
| Aleister Crowley | Creepy ass culttard who became a tranny and runs the world or some shit. Spends all zir time hanging upside down in a huge tank of urine. |
| Accelerator | A white-haired anorexic faggot who can basically fuck up the entire city at will. At the beginning Accelerator was a serial killer who slaughtered 10000+ Misaka clones crashing them with railway carriages while laughing like a sick fuck, but was gloriously fucked in the ass by Touma. Then Accelerator adopted the loli-Misaka as his child or something. Later he was hiding behind Mugino's skirt during the fight with Teitoku Kakine and finally gtfo to Russia to split it in half. |
| Ruiko Saten and Kazari Uiharu | The most cute and magnificent characters to come out of any Japanese franchise. Two Japland schoolgirls without any real skill, which makes them moe. |
| Shiage Hamazura | A rip-off of Naruto Uzumaki and the next protagonist alongside with Touma and Accelerator. Despite being skill-less, he pwns Mugino, Accelerator, Aleister Crowley and gets the fuck out of Academy City with his girlfriend. |
| Teitoku Kakine | Second level 5 esper, who fights using his cum called "Dark matter", from which he's able to create clones, wings and other shit. Being totally gay for Accelerator, Teitoku constantly butthurts about being only the #2 after him and tries to prove him how badass he is. First appeared while Touma was absent fucking his slut Itsuwa in France, Teitoku pwned ITEM and every fucking faction to get closer to his desired Accelerator, but in result was torn to pieces by him. Later Teitoku created himself a new body from said cum and tried to spam Accelerator with the cum clones for no good reason, but one of them has taken over his personality and has become a good guy, which means the fag was pwned by his own clone. |
| Shizuri Mugino | She is the 4th esper who can shoot lazers and the leader of ITEM, an underground slut brigade. Mugino is basically a female version of Teitoku, but with D-cup tits, who's gay for a 16-year old girl Misaka Mikoto. After being fucked by Teitoku, she went all crazy and killed her own subordinate Frenda, but was crippled by Shiage, Level 0, soon after. |
| Frenda Seivelun | A little German slut and a member of ITEM. She enjoyed blowing up things and groping Mugino's big boobs, until the latter got mad and sliced Frenda in half. Now it's a common joke among the fans to write her name as "Fre Nda". |
| Rikou Takitsubo | She is Shiage's bitch and a rip-off of Hinata Hyuuga: she is soft-spoken, has big tits and X-Ray vision. She worked with Mugino, but ran away with Shiage, because Mugino wanted to burn Rikou's cunt. |
| Saiai Kinuhata | Another ITEM member and a rip-off of Sakura Haruno (yes, Kamachi is fucking original). She can smash things with bare fists screaming "SHANNAROOO!!!1". Forgotten after volume 15, she probably found Sasuke and joined the Team 7. |
Saten is a slut
This meme started in 4chan during Season 1. Everyone called Saten Ruiko "waifu", people were clingy to Mikoto because she was a returning character from Index, but Saten as a debut got a surprising fanbase kinda quick.
Then a thread came, a guy created a thread calling Saten his waifu, one objected, she was his waifu, then one more, until a guy pulls the verdict:
"Saten is a slut since she's everyone's waifu".

Now that we've established the series, we now move onto the extensive fanbase. The fans are simply impossible, largely composed of various anti-social nerds arguing over who's the better girl, who Touma should fuck with, and of course whether Railgun or Index is more deserving of another season. Thanks to its light novels and animu popularity, fans have been requesting for a third season of the animu since last Thursday, which will probably never come true because the Animation company doesn't give a shit & was too busy sucking their own dicks. When time flies, massive faggots couldn't handle their anus much longer, they've been demanding it mindlessly in that page like "J.C STAFF, Index 3 PLEASE or GTFO!!!" while their mind slowly eroded. Despite having the worst fanbase, fanboys decided to keep their virginity and claims that they have waifus of their favorite heroines in the animu.

Kazuma Kamachi's 10th Year Anniversary Projects
Last Thursday, Kazuma Kamachi slated ten projects in his announcement. Before the final announcement of the project, fanboys immediately jumped out from their cumdumpsters and tried it to call a sign of Index 3 animu adaption, which will never gonna happen. Instead, Kamachi successfully trolled the shit out of his fans by releasing a new animu adaption from "one of his" light novels called Heavy Object, and 70% of the fanboys who worshipped their God goes batshit insane by yelling "NOO Y NO INDEX III FUCK YOU TROLLMACHI!!!". Since then, they lost all respect of their God and wanders around the Internet saying "Still no Index 3".

To Aru Universe is a facebook fanpage of this very animu. The page are a bunch of know-it-all smartass lightnovel readers and retard admins who makes stupid poorly made memes and loves to shitpost the same shit over & over again. Though the light novel series gained a slight popularity, as for the fanbase, it's all just a load of shit complaining for not getting a third animu adaption. Basically, it is a page for specially for basement dwellers.
