Sweet Baby Inc. Detected, or GamerGate 2: Electric Boogaloo, is the latest rung on the neverending drama ladder that sinks deeper and deeper into the foul septic tank of "professional" game development. What would have been a simple case of Who Gives A Fuck if everyone involved had even half a braincell, has instead blossomed into a beautiful flower of corporate chicanery, hate speech, and lulz. Excited?

What even the fuck is Sweet Baby Inc?

A consulting firm. Nothing more and nothing less. To make things simple, these are assholes you hire if you need advice on video game stories and narratives, and honestly it's not a new concept. Think like a corporate version of Yahoo Answers, except you have to pay these guys money. Sweet Baby Inc, specifically, are basically that "Put a woman in it and make her gay!" joke from South Park that digivolved into a company. If you're too retarded to figure out that all you need to do to have "more diversity and representation" in your game is change the color of some characters and give some tits to others, Sweet Baby Inc will fly to the rescue and, for a nominal fee, tell you to change the color of some characters and give some tits to others.

Lulz loomed on the far horizon in 2024 when a user of Steam, Kabrutus, became the curator of Sweet Baby Inc. Detected, a list of every game these con artists have ever worked on along with a simple Not Recommended. It's basically a Target brand Coincidence Detector that's been stripped of all antisemetism, offensiveness, and hilarity, and had only about 200 followers, and basically exists to say You may be asking, why is this drama-worthy? Why did anyone even care? How could anyone possibly take something as simple as a factual IMDB credits page, created from public and readily-available information, and derive any manner of "controversy?" Why can't consumers know about who worked on a product before choosing to spend their money on it? This is where the fun begins.

Chris Kindle, an employee of Sweet Baby Inc and part-time zombified Michonne Grimes impersonator, discovered this group and went absolutely ballistic. Trying, and desperately failing, to rally the knuckle-dragging legions of Twatter into a Raid, he was firmly and politely told Twitter is not your personal army and given a hilarious 6 day vacation for breaking Twatter's terms of service regarding "targeted harassment". Another employee, Felix Maya Kramer, took the BAWW approach and began whining about how mean and unfair and blah blah blah things really were, but there'll be more on her(?) later.

With the heat surrounding Kabrutus and his group, and the Leftards bleating about "paradox of tolerance" or whatever buzzwords they like to use, more people began to take notice. This is when people realized these were the guys who assed up the Suicide Squad game, the sweet scent of lulz was detected, and they began to dig a little deeper. Enough dirtiness was found that even seemed to turn NORPs against Sweet Baby Inc, and a good old dose of the Streisand Effect made the group balloon up to over 200,000 followers in only a couple of weeks. Felix Maya Kramer's hate speech on Twitter was unveiled, creating a pretty ugly Exhibit A for anyone who needs proof that Libtards don't give even a flying fuck about "equality" and "acceptance" and are just overly insecure professional victims who hate anything white with a penis. A presentation was dug up of Kim Belair at a 2019 Game Developer's Circlejerk where she urges folks to "scare developers into hiring their company under threat of being cancelled by SJWs, also creating a pretty ugly Exhibit A for anyone who needs proof that "wokeness" in media is nothing more than a marketing protection racket to scare critics, consumers, and creators into marching lockstep with their Fuhrer. From there, it essentially turned into a lite version of Gamergate, with clickbait articles on one side trying to claim those sexist racist review-bombing Trolls are at it again, content farms making Youtube videos, some mediocre Hate Art, and a few lulzy doses of hypocrisy.

Pretty much the only ones still siding with Sweet Baby Inc are the usual gang of idiots, Kotaku and other similar Clickbait news outlets, and the Wikipedos since they consider Kotaku a more reliable source than screenshots. Which is why, once again, don't talk to them unless your big brother Encyclopedia Dramatica is with you to set the facts straight.

If you've learned nothing else, if you want to avoid drama when you're a hypocritical group of bigots who threatens people into hiring you, and the only "controversy" you're facing is someone makes a list of the games you've made, you say LOL INTERNET and let that sleeping dog lie.
