Pollfest

Pollfest was ED's quest to find the greatest article created in its first five years of existence to celebrate ED's momentous 5th birthday. From an initial pool of 160 articles picked out by Sheneequa and EDF users, the selection had been trimmed to an NCAA style bracket of 64. Chris-chan, P-p-p-powerbook, and Chris Hansen were early favorites.

Prizes were able to be won by submitting ones' own bracket. Possible prizes included paid accounts, shirts, and the SUPER COVETED Joseph Evers autograph.

Pollfest took place on the ED Forums using polls in vBull. One had to register on the EDF forums (takes 3 seconds) to be able to vote or view the threads.
