The number of students being referred or asked to go to alternative schools has rapidly increased!!!! - Stephen C. Lando, Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education of the Great Neck Public Schools who lives on Concord Street in East Williston.

A charter school is where concerned mothers send their gifted children because public schools are, well, shit. Some argue that charter schools refuse to accept challenged students and lack diversity. Charter schools are designed small to create an excuse as to why they cannot accept that many students; therefore they can choose to accept no retards. The reasons for this are varied, the most obvious being to keep it from becoming another alternative school. And when it does become an alternative school, it may become a cause for massive lulz.

A typical Charter school.

This is why alternative schools should never exist!

This is what happens when a charter school runs out of money! It becomes a dumping ground also known as an alternative school for at-risk youths!

Sharon Applebaum (who lives on the end of Leslie Lane in Merrick) smiles as a potential school shooting can happen at her school.

Stephen C. Lando proudly smiles with his name enshrined on ED all because a stupid Aspie can't stop creating drama! Please send emails to him demanding why the district failed Jessica and put the subject line as "Jessica Liao": [email protected]

Is this Patricia Goodman that (who lives in a tiny apartment near the Great Neck train station) failed to tighten her privacy settings on Facebook?

Isn't it ironic that Susan Elliott (who put her address on private) is surrounded by successful students?

I bet Stephen C. Lando, Sharon Applebaum, Patricia Goodman and Susan Elliott is angry that she attacked their school system. :) Don't worry; I hate the principal of Village School too. He supports Village School that caused her problems at Great Neck South High School and got her diagnosed with Asperger syndrome soon after. Now she has social deficits and stereotyped behavior that can never disappear. She's forever disabled because of Village School. Let's never forget that. Unless they die, then no one would remember it. :) On November 7, 2005, she transferred to Great Neck South that would forever change her life.

Jessica overcame anxiety and difficulties with focus and organization by becoming disillusioned with Village School. During that period, she had difficulty transitioning to the traditional high school and that could easily be mistaken for social deficits and stereotyped behavior which is how she was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome. It is in my assessment that the school district failed her. If that happened to me, I would be pretty angry at the school district because I trusted them to meet my educational needs and they failed that. Why would anyone write a letter to Newsday discussing past failures? I wouldn't but I would do it if helping others by informing them that it could happen to them and prevention of school failure is solution to academic success.

I bet the CSE regrets their decision to put her at Village School. What a waste of resources as she publicly humiliated them on Newsday. But I do love drama!

Things You Should Know About Charter Schools

These charter school students are very diverse!

Wait a minute...they were supposed to be shopped white to push for moar diversity!!
  1. Charter schools allow public money to fund privately owned, exclusive schools, taking away from the collective pool for every other student.
  2. They are often religion based.
  3. Unlike magnet schools, which actually focus on specialized education, charter schools are really just a place to send your kids if you live too close to the ghetto.
