The man.
Three-time nominee and 2005 winner George Bush giving his acceptance speech. He had been considered for his missionary work in the Middle East before receiving the prize for his efficient handling of Hurricane Katrina's impact on black population.

The Nobel Prize for Racism (NPR) is, easily, the most highly coveted of the Nobel Prizes. It was created in 1945 when several Nobel Peace Prize winners complained that Adolf Hitler did not receive enough positive support in the media. They created the prize to honour those with unique viewpoints which are not commonly accepted but are still highly accurate. The prize is widely regarded as the most prestigious award available in any field created by humans. Each recipient, or laureate, receives a bust and a signed photo of Mr. Hitler.

The NPR goes to a man, organization (or, on rare occasions, a woman) who has helped the cause or done extensive research into the area of racism to try and prove something. However, your typical lone gunman, he who channels his rage through a single homicidal act, sometimes for cogent racist motives, does not qualify.

The winner is decided by an international Committee of randomly selected middle class, white males, age 25-75. Potential winners are nominated by the general public, and the Committee does whatever is necessary to decide on a winner (usually involves either rock, paper, scissors or some sort of drinking game). That’s why some winners are really surprising or controversial, even among members of the Committee.

Not to be confused with "Racists who won the Nobel Prize".

Controversies and criticisms

Among minor criticisms, the Prize Committee has been accused of omitting more deserving candidates. They have also been accused of having a North American focus or bias. The Americentric nature of the award was acknowledged by Rush Limbaugh, member of the committee since 1996, as a problem with the award and was attributed to the tendency to relate more to the american craziness and violence.

Michael Richards fan club having a rally to try and get the prize to its leader.

One of the most criticised winners was W. Yet W is incredibly respected for his acceptance speech which became world renowned as the best acceptance speech ever given. When he won the award he walked on stage, looked into the camera, and simply said "I did it for the lulz." His speech is now often quoted online and has become a common acceptance speech by NPR winners.

Overlooked achievements

The Committee confirmed that Caleb Rolles, who spent two decades proving that niggers like watermelon, was nominated many times. Later members of the Committee expressed regret that he was not given the prize.

Other high profile individuals with widely recognised contributions to racism have been missed out. The Washington Post lists William Rehnquist, Ronald Reagan, Robert Byrd, J. Edgar Hoover, John Wayne, Strom Thurmond and Gandhi, as people who "never won the prize, but should have."

Multiple NPR nominees include Jay-Z, Hutton Gibson, Tommy Hilfiger, the B'nai B'rith, Margaret Thatcher, and Oprah.

Refusals and constraints

Two laureates have voluntarily declined the NPR. In 2002, A. Wyatt Mann was awarded the Prize but refused, stating, "An artist must reject to allow himself to be transformed into an institution, even if it takes place in the most honourable form." The Wikipedia Jews, chosen as the 2011 winners for their anti-gentile hate speech, declined the prize, stating that the Committee did not reach consensus. Then their followers protected the Nobel Prize pages.

Neither Alfred Rosenberg, a key Nazi theoretician, nor Julius Streicher, widely known as "Jew-Baiter Number One" in Nazi Germany, could be selected for the 1947 prize due to the inconvenience that they had been executed the previous year.

In 1961, Adolf Eichmann, another revered Nazi, was forced to decline his prize as he had been kidnapped by the Mossad in 1960 and put on trial for alleged crimes against humanity. Josef Mengele, who won in 1972, had his visa application denied by the U. S. government, unlike so many other Nazis who lived in America and worked for the CIA after the war.
