Agent Orange file

I noticed that my file got flushed. I posted a reply to your notice on my user talk page but there seems to be no response (which I assumed you've read but didn't bother much or I'm just autistic enough to think that you would have put my user talk page onto your watchlist. Either way, really). The file was meant for an article I'm working on. I was going to briefly finish up everything but there were some details that I wasn't quite too happy with, so I put it off and tried working on it offline first before submitting the full change. The images were uploaded prior to the change. I do understand and am aware of the fact that images that are not contributed/linked to an article are going to need to be hosted on anonimgur. If you can give me some of those quality Agent Orange photos, that would be lovely. I don't have much luck with finding good shock images. It's all for the good of ED after all, right?

Oh, and the duplicate files are an honest mistake. The page didn't redirect properly and I simply thought that the upload failed. The reuploads evidently were duplicated files and whatnot.

All Teh Images I Just Uploaded

I will add them to articles...laterz...as I now have a horrifically head STABBING migraine...pleh...unless someone else wants to go ahead and add them sooner, except for the Adult Baby stuff, cause I have specific intentions/text/new sections that need added with them. All the rest can be added. I used the intended article name as the first part of the file name, although many of them will likewise work with MULTIPLE articles, like the one pizza image can be put in both the "pizza" article AND the "Americans" article. Anywho, if no one gets around to it then I'll do it tomorrow when I'm feeling better. For now it's time for massive amounts of Tylenol and sleeps. -_-

Mmmm...kinda depends. Like Equivamp is underage, but she makes good edits and doesn't generally ~act~ underage. Usually most of those who are underage ~act~ that way, which is why they're usually banned. The age thing I think is often just used as a convenient excuse to get rid of tweenage muppet fucks who are making blatant attack articles and shit edits. Just sticking them in galleries. They're all lableled with what article they're supposed to be in, so it's pretty simple. Some could be put into more than one article, so if you can think of any other article galleries to stick them in then that's good too.

Saw you are planning on making a Dragon Quest article

I've played that awhile back, and damn, that game series has some lulzy shit:

The first game has a part where you can get a girl to follow you, and if you rescued the princess, you can sleep at an inn, where the innkeeper all but says you fucked both of them.

The third game trolls the fuck out of perverts in the town of Asahlam at night if your hero is a guy. You talk to to this "dancer" girl (i.e. - prostitute), and she offers to give you a massage. You go upstairs to her bedroom, the lights go out, and when they come back on, her daddy is molesting you.

The fourth game has Taloon, the sick fuck. Seriously, some of his comments when appraising women's armor are seriously lulzy (and he does a piss poor denial of the fact he has a crossdressing fetish).

There was some other funny stuff, but I forget at the moment, but if you want help with the article, let me know.

Hey, I was reading the Uncyclopedia article and saw the GRIDS template at the bottom. I know cancer is killing /b/ and thought that AIDS was killing ED, but it says GRIDS. If it's supposed to be AIDS, should that be fixed? If it's supposed to be GRIDS, then what does AIDS go to?

Mmmm, I'd say use your best judgement. If they're just blatantly spamming tags all over random articles "just because" then you should probably tell them to stop, or at least slow down. On the whole overly redundant use of tagging doesn't really help improve anything, especially in that it's essentially unoriginal content. You might want to recommend alternatives for them to try. Like using such forms ~in~ the article text itself. Especially when linking to like the "offended page". There are better, more SUBTLE ways of using that form that just plastering a giant tag across the top of the article. --Onideus

There's some truly epic trolling lulz to be had with those fruitloops. The majority of them are "closet furries", in denial about their overly obvious sexual interests in the fandom, constantly trying to paint it up as a "hobby" and going off on screaming, frothing rants blatantly attacking their fellow furs whenever anyone even ~hints~ to contrary. Basically they're overly desperate to try and convince the world that they've got some semblance of "normalcy" and they'll willing to do ANYTHING to try and prove it (including attacking their own community). --Onideus

My article exists for a number of reasons, partially as a means of proving that, as a troll/flame artists I would *NEVER* do to anyone what I wouldn't be willing to do to myself...thusly proving that I'm in it for the "lulz" and not because I'm an angry snit who simply wants to attack other people/places/things (as many are). Apparently this crazy bitch happened:

She's a self-title "Christian Witch" who believes in both black magic, casting spells, etc etc...along ~with~ ultra-Christian conservative beliefs. She's like an ultra-liberal Democrat mixed with an ultra-conservative Republican in some sort of bizarre water and oil mixture that apparently only works cause the bitch is constantly stirring with insanity.

I made the unfortunate mistake of sending her an e-mail and advising her to tone down her insanity or else she was likely going to attract the attention of 4Chan, us, or one of the other volatile groups. I also advised her to get an anonymity service for her domain name as her full name and address were freely available to anyone.

But uh...apparently Ms. Crazy was either just too unbelievably stupid to even understand what I was talking about, or she purposefully decided to just use the opportunity to nail herself up on a proverbial cross so that she could run around screaming to her friends and followers that she was "hacked" and "afeared for her life". *rolls eyes* Her idiot sheeple friends and followers of course responded right on cue and basically started reporting every last thing on my FB page.

Hopefully I can get it back online...and hopefully I won't have to threaten "Baby Marky" again. This actually like the THIRD time this has happened in the past two years. That's done automagically actually. I use a variety of Grease Monkey scripts for just about everything. Basically they're custom browser plugins that you can use to modify your view of any website as well as add additional functionality, automation, whatever you like. So when I go to edit a page's gallery it'll automatically change them all to "Image", mostly for the purpose in that it makes the code cleaner, easier to read and falls in with "good programming practices". It's only adding a single character which is pretty well inconsequential as far as page loading times. Even with articles that have gigantor galleries likes cats it won't even subtract a split second less loading time if you change them all to "File". --Onideus

Depends on the article. Some articles don't actually have galleries at all, or at least they didn't until I started uploading material. I usually wait until there's a sufficient amount to make a proper gallery and then merge it into the article (usually ~10 images or so is the minimum). For other articles though, like the Babyfur article, I'm planning on rebuilding/restructuring the entire article (similar to what I did to the Infantilism article). So as such I keep the stuff in the talk page until it's ready to be edited properly. Mostly in that I don't want to mix up old/crap material with new/good material. That's especially obvious on the Babyfur article, where its existing gallery is like 85% overly redundant vanity/exhibitionist babyfur spam. Keeping it separate for the time being makes it easier to rewrite the article later.

Anything can be taken over/merged/edited though if anyone wants. And there's TONS of other stuffs in the "Working Materials" page. Here's a current breakdown of the "future galleries" I have going in various articles:

But again, it depends on others too, because anyone can work on that stuff. When Gray was still around he used to handle the majority of my filing, so since he's been gone things have been piling up a bit. --Onideus

So far I've only found a small assortment (about 10 images), in the "sorted" section of the archive and I believe I restored/uploaded about 4 of those (the rest were already on the server). There's very likely more buried in the unsorted sections...I just haven't come across them yet...and a lot of the folders aren't exactly named real well. I could try and run some searches on some of the file names, see if anything comes up...although that always takes freakin forever, plus it presumes that all the files are even in the same folder to begin with. I ~definitely~ do recall seeing the article on old ED though and I very distinctly remember wanting to make sure it was all archived...but I think I may have done something with all the files...in fact they may not actually even ~be~ in the Data Archive at all...cause I think maybe I was going to use them for a trolling project...in which case they could be anywhere... *scratches head* ...I'll give it some thought, see if I can't remember. I'll take a look, although right now I'm more like "randomly restoring" rather than doing directed searches...mostly cause it's easier and takes a lot less time and, more importantly, processing power. My system is taxed pretty heavily most of the time, with constant downloading, video encoding and video capture (plus if I'm doing something like playing GameCube or PS2 games). Trying to run searches on top of all that doesn't really work so well...especially since, on my present system, I only have the hardware to connect two extra drives externally at a time (my unsorted archives span around a dozen drives at present). It also doesn't help that a lot of stuff has been renamed and semi-sorted. The two areas I've been poking around the most in are folders with "memes" or "kooks" in the name, as they've been the most promising as far as finding restoration material. --Onideus

Probably busy with stuff, plus those forms aren't entirely foolproof. Generally with uber high traffic Wikis the spam artists will go out of their way to program around any potential hindrances. It's not that really that much of a bother to flush them...well, at least for me it's not. I'm utilizing augmented browsing with custom addons which basically allow me to flush them out with just a couple clicks. I could actually automate it completely, but I figure it's better to have a human presence behind it...unless it ~really~ starts getting out of hand. It's been ~fairly~ consistent for the past several months though, maybe a slight increase here recently. --Onideus

If it ever gets really bad, you might want to ask E to set up AbuseFilter. Basically, every time the spammers try something new, the filter can be adjusted to defeat their nonsense. From what I understand, most spam is done in bulk following specific patterns, so this might be a good extension in case we get a ton of spammers trying to flood ED with lots of bullshit. Meh, it's a bit irrelevant since there's a good chance we're going to have the original one back within six to twelve months or so. It's gonna cost a bit of money and I need to register some trademarks, but once I get that done I can file a UDRP with ICANN to force Butter Queen to hand it over to us. She has no legal standing as far as ownership of the domain since she never registered the name as a trademark nor is her current business using the name in any way whatsoever, either in branding nor as far as marketing (in fact much the opposite, they actually openly BAN people who even make mention of the name), meaning by ICANN's rules they're effectively squatting it. Overall it'll probably cost me around $1,500 for the UDRP (plus trademark registration fees), but that's still cheaper than going through the regular courts with it...well, unless maybe I can convince the EFF to help us get it back via the courts, but either way I still need to register the trademarks first, namely "Encyclopedia Dramatica" and the whole "AE" thing. --Onideus

Oh, also, there's only ONE sysop who generally reverts my bans, it's Uberfukken, and he only does it because he's buttmad at me for some reason and never actually bother to see ~why~ the person was banned, he just auto-reverts my bans as soon as he sees them. He's also been doing other really weird ass shit like taking forgeries of me from the mid 90s and setting them as Quotes of the Now. --Onideus
