The source of this memery first came from some blog known as Catmas, an old web blog that greatly celebrated the glorious Caturday. Soon the lulz began to spread far and wide, and soon made it's way to all corners of the internet; specifically to places like CheezBurger, KnowYourMeme, and other social media websites.

...with Japanese text that translates to what is typed out below the picture. Immediatly, the picture blew up in Japan and similar memes were posted all over Japanese Twitter, to the point where even twitter made a little "Twitter Moments" tweet about the return of the meme.
