Dead Frontier is a free browser Survival Horror MMO created by Neil Yates (AdminPwn) and his brother (Xaelath) in Neil's basement. Just like most browser-based games, you can buy premium, or spend your hard-earned on their brand of magic game money called credits, which is a waste because you can buy them with in-game money, too. This is one of the few games that actually has a working barter feature where you can trade your money for other people's overpriced crap. Has a functioning forum where more people spend their time on than the game. Unlike most games, you actually get rewarded for spending countless hours of your important life to get to the top of the leaderboard, your reward is access to a shop with the best equipment in the game. Too bad it all costs more in-game money than you have or ever will have. Oh yeah, and there's zombies.
Gameplay
You kill zombies with guns, steal from dead people, get raped by invincible killing machines disguised as challenging bosses, repeat. Now go play Killing Floor, n00b.
Starting Classes
- Scientist: Makes meds once a day.
- Farmer: Like a Scientist except with food.
- Doctor: Can apply meds with maximum effectiveness, because you're too much of a fucktard to do it yourself.
- Chef: Doctor except with food.
- Engineer: Repairs your overpowered armor.
- Boxer: Starts with a Melee and Strength bonus.
- Soldier: Overpowered class that gives you uselessly spread stats and detracts from EXP.
- Police Officer: Get to beat up any black players. Drama ensues.
- Fireman: Boxer excpet with an Endurance bonus instead a Strength bonus.
- Athlete: Gets improved speed.
- Teacher/Priest/Lawyer/Account/Journalist/Actor/Stock Broker/Architect/Entertainer/Student: Get a 30% EXP bonus.
- Santa: Admin only class. Survivors who told of a jolly fat man riding around the decidedly not-wonderful winter wasteland were laughed at - Santa Claus was, and still is, something parents told their kids when they tucked them in at night, to keep the kids hoping. Until someone left a ton of bullets, explosives, and credits in front of a makeshift tree smack-dab in the middle of the compound. (the twelve men working the storage building claimed to have not seen anything). When guards went to look outside, there were miles and miles of dead zombies.
- Cyborg: Admin only class.
Weapons
- Melee: One of the two types of weapons that actually do shit. Range from pocket knifes to super pro japanese swords, or the more awesome battle axe.
- Pistols: A good weapon for noobs and pros alike. BullshitDoesn't make a lot of noise so zombies don't Zerg Rush on you.
- Rifles: See Pistols.
- Shotguns: Weapon used for killing lots of zombies fast.
- Machine guns: Shotguns that actually work.
- Explosives: Blow shit up with grenade launchers.
Enemies
- Regular Zed: A newfag zombie.
- Fat Zed: Eats food like you;.
- Burned Zed: A pyromaniac who became a zombie.
- Radioactive Zed: A zombie that pukes acid all over you; It wants to give you a blow job whenever you come near itfetish.
- Burning Zed: A successful pyromaniac who was infected; counts as a newfag boss.
- Leaper: The only mutant that can pwn you with one hit.Seriously.
- Spider: Leading cause of FFFUUUUUUUUU-.
- Bloat: Fat Zed with a bigger mouth to suck big cocks; then it will vomit on youfetish.
- Bone: Common zombie on drugs.
- Reaper: Has a bladed arm with a 100 foot range; it known for sticking it's blade up your ass.
- Tendril: Reaper in loli form plus negro speed; It's known for wanting to stick it's multiple cocks up your ass.
- Siren: Emo that's horny and wants to give you a blow job and screams; this alerts everyone in the area to rape you in the ass.
- Brute: Fat zombie, add 1000 lbs. and explodes on death.
Bosses
- Titan: A Bone with a ridiculous amount of health. Oh yeah, is like 16 feet tall and it wants to give you a blow job.
- Mother: Probably the most fucked up enemy in the entire game. A pregnant lady who's baby is now fused into her stomach and throws up everywhere. Bravo, Neil, you've created vaginal goatse.
- Giant Spider: After being killed countless times by Spiders, good news, now they are bigger AND faster;.
- Wraith: A jailbate Tendril. You'd hit it, sick fuck; she has multiple cocks that are going to be stuck up your ass.
Notable People
Players
- Niki: A very popular player, playing since the beginning of the game in '08. Known for never having spent any money on the game yet having an outstanding arsenal.
- Lucas.: Dead Frontier's most famous troll. Holds the record for largest number of bans and currently on a 1 year ban.
- AxionPrime: One of the few level 200's. If you pay him enough money, he'll train you to be as cool as him.
- Christina Jackson: The only girl on the entire DF community. Owns Free Looters Union and Shadow Blades.
- Gregg Stevens: Another level 200, but he got b&.
- Reznorock: Owner of V.O.I.D.. Donated all of his jew gold to get custom crap for the game. A noted oldfag. Also a former moderator.
- Blaqk: Owner of Entropy, which is basically the only difference between him and Reznorock. Another noted oldfag. Former Moderator.
- RuinOfTheDead: Mostly normal unless provoked. Joined a group of pros and doesn't boast about it everywhere on the forums. Is also a ponyfag.
- mvp13: Owner of Scarlet Sentinels.
- Sgt. Thompson: DF's resident artfag.
- Hanno25: Your average internet user. Is known for history of creating dumbass threads making no sense whatsoever, just to get you mad, so he can fap over his accomplishment of winning an argument on the internet. Also makes legible arguments against ponyfags.
- Deaths Aeon (Death's Æon): One of DF's wannabe pretty boys, he likes to talk down his former clans in order to make himself feel better about his past. Likes to spell his account name Death's Æon because he thinks it makes him look cool.
- Thewisefish: Quite simply, somebody you would just want to punch in the face upon meeting.
- MonsterSavona: Just laugh at this nobody and move on.
- HeirApparent: AKA - Bloodlust, Heirmet, NoHairApparently or just "Heir", is one of the easiest to troll players on DF, probably because they like to think they know what they're talking about. Just like Andrew Kutches, he has quit a million times... but you hope he'd just go away.
- NobleV: Another oldfag who got the ban hammer, but was framed because he interfered with Reznorock's sucking of AdminPwn's "special weapon crafting machine".
Staff
Protip: Don't even try to figure out what the mods do.
- AdminPwn: Administrator. Rakes in tons of money from his overpriced credits.
- Xaelath: Administrator and AdminPwn's brother. Goes onto Serious Discussion and talks down his users about why Christianity is good.
- Crynsos: Moderator. Runs the wiki. Doesn't do much more than that.
- MaFaHai: Moderator. Pacifinigger.
- PsyFiend420: Moderator. Probably spends time on 420chan.
- Akraix: Moderator. Actually plays the game.
- yakkety: Former-backseat moderator who was somehow given moderator powers in the chat rooms and later, his dream, the forums. He now has multiple pictures of himself "hanging" with other moderators, and is also seen constantly pretending to be of some authority on the forums. (When really, nobody gives a shit what he says.)
Notable Clans
DF has a crapload of clans, these are the biggest and best.
- V.O.I.D.: Mods play favorite to this clan because the owner donated all his money to the developers. The even have their own armor!!! If you want it, it costs twenty-thousand credits, which is five-hundred dollars (you can't make this shit up) of IRL money. Did I mention their clan mascot is Cthulhu?
- Free Looter's Union: Take the Democratic party and add a woman to lead them.
- Entropy: Clan based off the philosophy of Chaos and Nothing. The clan ranks are copied from Fallout's Caesar's Legion. They have a clan story which is not emo at all.
- Scarlet Sentinels: FOR MOTHER RUSSIA!!!
- Furries Guild: They ruin everything. It's sad that it's one of the biggest clans. They are also the most literate users in the community, which says a lot about the other users.
- S.H.A.D.O.W.: Only the most dedicated basement dwellers can get in this clan. Proficient trolls, though. The owner authorized the creation of sock puppets on the Scarlet Sentinels website for trolling purposes. Lulz ensued when SS challenged SHADOW to a clan battle because of this.
- D.R.L.P.: An oldfag clan, once ruined by Reznorock's jealousy. Now they lurk the streets of the inner city, hoping to capture their past once again.
