Asphyxiaphilia
Asphyxiaphilia is a type of fetish play where lonely guys simulate holding their breath in order to get sexual relief, as it is clear they are never going near another human being. It should however be made very clear that these rejects of society do not, in fact, truly hold their breath. Professional freedivers cannot withstand a lack of oxygen for half of the period in which these retards pretend they're not breathing. Yes, these morons are convinced that they are able to hold their breath longer than trained professionals.
Speaking of asphyxiation, unsuspecting people who encounter these unwashed smelling turd-bags are invariably forced to hold their own breath in an instinctual survival reflex action. Despite their claimed ability to hold their breath, nearly all asphyxiaphiliacs are afraid of drowning when their mommy wants to put them in the bathtub.
What is Air?
Studies have shown that oxygen is the most vital thing necessary to human survival, and as a result, experts have classified asphyxiaphiliacs as the dumbest and most suicidal forms of life when it comes to the world of paraphilias. Your brain is programmed to instinctively try to force you to breathe when it's out of desperately-needed air, but you do have the free will to be stupid and continue starving it of oxygen in order to become even more stupid. There have been plenty of cases of people dying from exploring this fetish by pushing it over the edge, but the partner who accidentally suffocated them to death is never charged with murder since they're doing society a favor by removing a useless freak from it who was likely to die alone anyway.
Asphyxia freaks are not to be confused with fans of "hand-gagging," which, as the name suggests, is pornography involving one person placing a hand over another person's mouth in order to silence their screams during or just before they get violated. Examples of these not-so-innocent challenges include "How long can you hold a note for?",or "Can you blow up a balloon in a single breath?", or "How long can you blow bubbles into a glass of water using a straw for?", or "Can you recite the entire alphabet in one breath?" and, of course, the ever popular "Plug your nose and keep your mouth shut for as long as you can, no cheating!" gambit.

Misusing Objects
As you'd guess, most deviants who get off on killing their brain cells through oxygen deprivation usually have lost all ties with their friends and family because, seriously, who the hell wants to entertain attempted murder on another human being just for the keks? Instead, they must resort to using objects to seal off their airways. Many of these items turn out to be some type of swimming gear, such as a swimcap stretched completely over one's face to prevent breathing. Others are into what's called "re-breathing" where you breathe the same air into a balloon, bag, mask, or a condom until it runs out of usable oxygen, and then you breathe into it some more.
