Many people on the Internet demand, expect or desire respect. Someone with immense respect is clearly not a faggot and knows his away around reality. Admiration for others is uncommon on the internets, because it's infested with 13-year old boys, who are too busy yelling FUCK at fellow CoDFags.

Respect is a lot like money, in that it must be earned and not given freely to just any old schmoe who thinks he or she deserves it.

However, there are some people do deserve respect, for things such as doing something with their lives, or inventing something everyone needs.
