Whom To Respect

Some argue that you ought to respect everybody equally on the grounds that all people deserve respect. This is, of course, obvious fucking horseshit and does not stand up to even the slightest bit of serious evaluation.

Almost no one deserves your respect, and you don't deserve others'. Know why? Because you are a lonely virgin who sits down all day browsing b, getting an ass-rash in the process. Respect is a lot like money, in that it must be earned and not given freely to just any old schmoe who thinks he or she deserves it.

However, there are some people do deserve respect, for things such as doing something with their lives, or inventing something everyone needs.
