The Tender Crisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch (abbreviated "TCBCR") was a sandwich invented last Thursday by Hootie, licensed and sold only by Burger King. The TCBCR is a tasty sandwich, consisting of chicken breast, ranch dressing, bacon, and cheddar cheese.

The TCBCR is indeed a right royally tasty sandwich.

Caution: The TCBCR is a high-fat, high-calorie food. While utterly delicious, each TCBCR you take in will add no less than ten inches to your waist.

The TCBCR as a Meme

When Burger King first released the commercial for the TCBCR, the wild juxtaposition of popular musician Hootie from alterna-jazz band "Hootie and the Blowfish" with a country singer extolling the virtues of a sandwich had many people bewildered. The song was catchy, and most didn't want to claim that Hootie had yet "sold out." However, Hootie had long ago jumped the shark as demonstated by the fact that his band hasn't released an album since 1993.

The TCBCR on the Internet

Unfortunately, the TCBCR will turn Hot Chicks into fatties in a matter of seconds.

Many parodies have risen from the 'net, most of which are contained at YTMND and can be viewed by doing a simple search for "tender crisp." Judging from the catchiness of the TCBCR song and most basement-dwelling nerds ability to lul at anything, cutting-and-pasting some pictures and audio files and posting them on the net (such as the "Tender Crisp Bacon Cheddar NOOOOOOOO) is instant comedy gold.
