Joan Cornellá Vázquez is an artist of Spanish origin who in an almost unheard of instance completes the holy trifecta which distinguishes the true Dramatican; namely originality, humour and all-round sick fuckery, whilst overcoming the debilitating condition of having been born a girl. Cornella's style although simplistic encompasses and some argue seeks to have the viewer further contemplate a multitude of complex and often taboo subject matters including but not limited to: suicide, murder, gore, abortion, nudity, torture, disability, and deformity, homosexuality, guns, black person, crime, cats, dogs, drugs, humanity, religion and sometimes scat, usually within six panels and often to great comedic effect.
