Don't redirect existing articles. If you feel an article is not worthy of existing, bring it up on the talk page or the TJC and let a sysop decide it's fate, that's what they are there for. If I may interject: If you read about shameless self promotion it really has nothing to do with showing what work we do around the wiki. Promoting your own work is totally your prerogative. It's called "punch line" (unexpected humor). The first part is written formally and honest, which contrasts to the "slit your throat" comment. Other examples can be found in Rule 34 (What's that? In theory when you move a page, you then have all the redirects that used to point at it now pointing at another redirect. You point those redirects at the page's new location. The new Categories

I've noticed there are a lot of articles with subpages, and many of them have no easy way to sort them out, so if the pages are moved, renamed, the article names get horribly fucked up in a freak data accident, the cancer that is killing /b/ spills onto ED's servers, or Ceiling Cat knows what the fuck else happens, we have some way of knowing what goes to what (hopefully).

It'll also help people figure out where to find sources of related lulz easier. If you want to find all pages related to say, TV Tropes or Wikipedia, just look for all the pages in the category of the same name. Just relying on following the "See Also" categories or hunting for the subpage links is not very efficient, since the TV Tropes and Wikipedia pages had many subpages and other articles that were related to those articles that weren't obvious at first glance because they weren't categorized as having something to do with those subjects.

Call me crazy, but if we can find all the article on a certain subject and related topics in one place, I think that's a good thing for everyone so they don't have to go hunting for certain pages if something mentioned above happens.

And yes, if I have to, I'll do all the dirty work fixing things myself, and I'll start with the articles you mentioned, and I'll add those "See Also" links as well since that's another great idea. DarkLordTR 06:54, 17 November 2012 (EST)DarkLordTR

The main article of each of those pages you mentioned has a subpage, so by putting the main page and the subpage in their own unique category, anyone who wants to find any article and/or subpage about NephilimFree or Onigojirakaiju can just click on the category and get a nice list of everything related to the category subject. Besides, in case we add any more that requires another subpage, we already have a easy way to keep it all organized.

Another reason is that we have a lot of articles of various Aspies. But what if I wanted to read about, say, Chris-chan, and only articles pertaining to him or are related to him. The simple solution is to make all articles and subpages of related to the main article about Chris-chan are in one big category with his name on it, so I wouldn't have to worry about missing a single article on the specific lolcow I want to read about. Just so u know, I've been going through the wanted pages list, comparing them with stuff on the Wayback Machine, and I've been turning redirects on ED.se to what they were on ED.com (except where they are different on ED.se) or links I knew were related to certain pages (when I checked "Tentacles", it didn't seem to be making a double redirect to anything). I tried to double check them using the "Show preview" option and going to the link to see if I was making a single or double redirect. Unfortunately, Cloudflare kept crapping out several times while I was doing this, so I might have made one or two by mistake.

I decided to add something to the red link removal mission, the Do Not Delete Template. Basically, it goes on red links for deleted pages (for actual links, not wiki word or grammatical fuckups, those need to be fixed) that are referenced on talk pages, banned user pages (if need be), archived pages, or other stuff that we will want to keep a record of for later or would just fuck something up like someone's talk history or pages that are archived for historical reasons. It also has the added benefit of further pruning down the "Wanted Pages" list so we have less shit to fix in the long run.

Yo, just wondering how "protected pages" work... An article I created (https://encyclopediadramatica.se/Undertakerfreak1127) was "protected" by "LIATBuster30011" who doesn't appear to be an admin, just wondering how that works exactly because I've never seen an option to protect an article yet this person did it when I undid massive blanking... It'd be nice to have admin privileges for pages you create instead of not being able to edit anything because a random person comes in and decides to protect it when there was not an issue going on.

Since the articles related to BatteryIncluded created around late April and early May, I initially welcomed contributions from Anwar Sadat's Horny Ghost•(talk)•(Contribs) and others. However, overtime the user has started exhibiting the same pattern of abusive behaviour from the Wikipedo, telling me to kill myself or at least, commit suicide with the same image of a kitten that BatteryIncluded gave me - his action was considered abusive as it was made to take advantage of Starkiller88's ban to mock him - he wants me dead. As a beginner editor on Encyclopedia Dramatica who followed ED:101, it has appeared that the situation may lead to a case being presented with a view to sending the user concerned a warning before being shit-canned for this growing faggotry or perhaps notify the authorities if this persistent and escalates with a threat made to possibly use violence or anything that involves the abuse of computers (e.g. infecting or hacking someone's computers).

Other than above, the post is likely trolling for the most part, like BatteryIncluded himself. This fits into BatteryIncluded's disparaging, uncivil and vulgar language of which to offend editors everywhere, as well as his malicious comments which are not real (this is why I compared him to a computer virus which displays fake notifications and alerts), personal attacks and incivility. I felt that personal attacks and death threats are not allowed in ED; death threats are taken seriously over the Internet.

Accordingly, the recent posts made by this user are raped from my talk page, which I temporarily protected. He may not post anything on my talk page without my approval. All of his messages and posts before then will be retained and left intact.

The investigations about whether BatteryIncluded himself may show up on every Encyclopedia Dramatica or anything else on the Internet, including Wikipedia, in any form or shape is still ongoing. Evidence bearing on this may be presented either below, or to the ED Sysops. In addition to making further changes of the BatteryIncluded articles, further action will be taken if developments concerning BatteryIncluded warrant anywhere.

I hope you ED Sysops will see to this matter.
