I can't get on IRC, because the link provided on the site notice 404's?

I are see I are not on IRC, why is that? I clicked the link ( I use IRC client mIRC ), and yet it causes a DNS error. Is there something I did wrong, if so, what is that? - Another n00b 22:16, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

1. Open mIRC
2. Go to file > new server window
3. in said server window type /server irc.wtfux.org
4. when it connects type /nick <whatever you want your nick to be>
5. type /join #ed
6. ??????????

Yes, that is what I done. It just takes me to a random load of junk text. I really don't see the point in that, why can't this just work? People already need to figure out what IRC is and what client to use. They don't need to figure all this additional junk out too. I'll try that, thanks for the advice. But still, why do you need to do all this shit when it's supposed to be quick and easy to use? Kind of self-contradictory. And it isn't to keep out dumb-fucks, as this image proves. I'm not trying to stand up to you, as I have common sense to obey the ED admins, but I would like to leave that small complaint.
