Guy IRLs are one of the biggest problems on the internet today. While they date back to the earliest of computer gaming, it is no more prevalent than today that basement-dwelling males will log onto their computers and pose as a female, either in chat rooms, or with a full fledged avatar. Although some do it for the lulz, they're still homosexuals anyway. On Second Life there is no shortage of Guy IRLs as they continue to lie, and cheat, and scam unknowing male and sometimes female victims. The horror of this reality is that if you are indeed a victim of a Guy IRL scam, YOU ARE GAY NOW. That's right, if a Guy IRL posing as a female has tricked you into doing some sort of sexual act with their female avatar (and your male) regardless of it appearing straight, it's gay, and now so are you.
Why a Guy IRL?
There is no one answer as to why Guys play Girls online. On just about every MMO, there is a large portion of Guy IRLs that play females, each with varying real reasons. One of the excuses often given by Guy IRLs is "if I have to stare at an ass for 20hr a week, it might as well be an ass I like" which is kind of jarring as most video games involve MORE than just staring at your avatar's ass, unless you're playing DoA, which they're not. This is only their given excuse as to why they play girls online as the real answers are far more entertaining and factual.
A female avatar will always get more attention, gifts and linden dollars than male avatars. If you are a sad, pathetic beggar, then making a female avatar is ideal. Many Guy IRLs will make alts to their main account and have them be as slutty as possible to trick other male players into giving them money. This money "earned" will then be transferred back to their main account. While most of Guy IRLs are homophobic and straight, they may still perform sexual acts on other men with their female avatar for more linden, proving that they are actually gay. While it's true that females DO whore themselves out, it's usually for attention. Guy IRLs can be revealed for always leaving their alts idling on tip jars.

Other Guy IRLs play a girl simply because they're sad and lonely, and lack any friends on their ugly male account. EVERYONE wants to be friends with a cute young tart, so why not become one? Have all the FRIENDS you could ever need! Although what Guy IRLs will find is that everyone online just wants to have sex, and if they aren't willing to give it up, they'll quickly move on to the newer pretty young girl, who is also played by a Guy IRL.
Men who are transsexual will often play a female avatar because it IS THEIR TRUE GENDER LOL. What most TG people fail to realize is that they're still guys regardless whether they're m2f or f2m, all are male. Transsexual men will often use a voice changer in order to fool people into thinking they're a female, however this is all usually debunked quickly as soon as they start talking about how much they love masturbating in the shower with their didlos, as real females would never say such things because women are all pure and innocent. "If I can't be a female IRL, i'll be one on SL!" is often what drives these Guys IRL to play females, however what they fail to realize is that they still act like men even if they think "I'm a girl inside ruhruhruh" and often still portray typical male stereotypes online, such as being White Knights or Internet Tough Guys.

Guys who play girls are often stupid enough to give away their gender when not even trying to. There have been WoW studies of a similar nature, but the recipe still applies to SL. Guys playing girls will often be much more active in avatar movement such as jumping. Guy IRLs will also almost always have an ugly mismatched outfit due to the fact men can't color match even though all it takes is one quick google search to know how. If someone makes ANY sexual comment whatsoever, it's a Guy IRL. Look for specific phrases that praise themselves, rather than insult others. A Guy IRL will stroke his own ego as much as possible, probably due to the fact he's too homophobic to stare at a male's ass for 20 hours a week, afraid it will turn him gay (which it will).
An automatic giveaway is an MLP reference, either in the name or avatar (CHECK THE PICKS!). There are no female MLP fans, therefore you have detected a Guy IRL. Also, if the avatar is wearing anything resembling a video game, such as armor, weapons, or anything resembling Halo, it's a Guy IRL. More automatic giveaways are the inclusion of an F-List (LOL!) in their picks or profile. While in their profile, look to see if they are partnered to another female character (often indication that you're looking at a Guy IRL) as there's no such thing as an actual lesbian.
In a strip club if a girl avatar is tipping other dancers, it's a Guy IRL. Women hate other women and would never give any of their possessions away, especially money. A Guy IRL will often try to fool other males online by placing their avatars on a stripper pole and make lots of comments about "how honry i am~ ;)" and use lots of tildes and smiley emotes. This is to bait in a potential sucker to give them tips for their slut display, in which the Guy IRL will just transfer over to his male avatar (main) account and put his female alt back on the pole the next day.
IT'S A TRAP!
Guys who play girls are some of the shittiest people online. While some claim to do it for the lulz, most do it because they literally have nothing else to do. Instead of reading a book, or learning about the evolution of fish on the history channel, they are online playing a girl trying to trick boys. Sometimes Guy IRLs try to trick girls too, in hopes of forming a lesbian relationship. The logic behind this is that a lot of female players will often grow tired of men and their perverse ways of talking to them, and instead lean towards women due to their non perverse ways (even though they are all still perverted as fucking shit). A Guy IRL will be hoping to cash in on this opportunity by agreeing with them how much they HATE MEN and when they finally get down to have hawt pixelated sex will always be the dom.
BEWARE OF SHEMALES!!! On SecondLife, for SOME REASON girls like to add DICKS to their female avatars. The reason why is mostly due to penis envy, but this may make it difficult to spot a Guy IRL. There is one clear indication when telling apart a Guy IRL from a female player. A Guy IRL will ALWAYS make their dick FUCKING HUGE, while female players may make their dicks of average or smaller size. Females will almost always NEVER make their dicks part of their normal avatar though, and almost always serve as a form of humor to themselves, where's Guy IRLs will constantly flail their bulge in your face, trying to impress.
The "Lesbian" Couple
Guys playing girls will often partake in a same sex relationship with a (usually pansexual) female. The irony behind their gender insecurity is that they will always be completely fucking obvious about the fact they're a Guy IRL. Several things can give away their true gender such as user name. If a girl has a stupid fucking username with numbers, it's probably a Guy IRL. Guy IRLs will often make their female avatar taller than their lesbian lover, so he can still be "the man" while being able to look at his avatar's sweet female ass all day.
There will also be noticeable behavioral differences between a Guy IRL and their female offset. The actual female will always be more social and outgoing, while the Guy IRL is always a silent, bruting loner, who doesn't want to engage in social normality because he's too busy "scripting" or scamming someone in IMs for free Lindens, the former of which proves he's a Guy IRL because females can't script. Also, Guy IRLs in a lesbian relationship will always HATE GUYS because any sign of confidence or self comfort-ability will summon RAGE from the Guy IRL, and he will become an Internet Tough Guy, making accusations about you HITTING ON HIS GIRL!!!!!!!!11 (because you were ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ).
The "Incest" Couple
An "incest couple" almost ALWAYS has at least one Guy IRL involved. There is no way in a million years that two females would band together in a relationship and explore their incestuous fetishes together, besides everyone knows Incest is a male only fetish. Expect to see carbon copies of the avatars, often twincest with similar names. If they are both female, the same identifying process can be applied, as insulting both of them will often result in the Guy IRL revealing himself while being a protective Internet Tough Guy. What's even better is if they turn out to BOTH be guys, thinking the other was a girl the whole time, but then realizing they've fooled each other into becoming gay and now have no choice.
If the avatars aren't carbon copies of one another, there are several things that can give away the Guy IRL. If the characters are brother and sister, the Guy IRL will almost ALWAYS be playing the male character. Same goes with Father/daughter or Mother/son in some rare cases. That being said if the incest couple has characters of the same gender (most often female) the Guy IRL is almost always the dominating mother/older sister as females irl never domme. If the incest couple happens to be father/son (LOL) then both players are definitely Guy IRLs. Despite popular belief, females do not create male alts to sleep with other males, which is ironic due to how much they apparently find Yaoi HAWT but not gay porn, go figure.
How to troll a Guy IRL
One of the best things about identifying a Guy IRL is calling him out on his bullshit. For obvious reasons, Guy IRLs HATE being discovered, as it ruins their scam, thus losing their customers and needing to make a new alt (which costs more money). After identifying a Guy IRL it's crucial that you let him and everybody around know they're a Guy IRL. Don't IM him privately and accuse him there, instead SHOUT it in all capitals while standing right in front of his avatar. The Guy IRL will most likely begin to panic, and try to debunk your theory. You'll find more often than not, the Guy IRL will get out an avatar weapon such as a gun or a sword and repeatedly try to attack your avatar to prove his manliness (which even further debunks his female credibility anyway). This can be remedied by hitting ctrl alt P which enables movelock.

It's also imperative that not only do you publicly reveal a Guy IRL right out, but also make several comments on the statistics of Guy IRLs, such as why they play female avatars, which REALLY irritates them for some reason, even though it's cold hard fact. It's important that you don't directly insult the Guy IRL because he's going to get emotionally unstable anyway (after all he is a male playing as a female online). It's much more lulzy to state the truth and have the Guy IRL get PISSED OFF at you for being an ASSHOLE rather than flat out insult him. However, if you DO want to insult him, you should almost always comment on how shitty they threw together their outfit, as a real female would have made a much more convincing garb. Notice how the hair on his avatar doesn't quite line up and comment on that. Ask him how many men he's fooled tonight with his scam, which they'll either admit to or DENY WITH FUCKING ANGER, any of the two still proving that they're a guy.
In the LULZIEST of cases, a Guy IRL may get on microphone and reveal his deep black guy voice, throwing insults and fucks left and right. As most Guy IRLs defend their virtual vaginas by becoming an Internet Tough Guy, you should almost always say you're willing to fight IRL and repeatedly ask for their address. If you accuse someone of being a Guy IRL, and they get on mic only to reveal a female voice don't worry, it's just a voice changer, and they're still a Guy IRL.
Guy IRLs are almost ALWAYS straight homophobic males, so making homosexual remarks towards their male parts IRL always ensures lulz. Guy IRLs may try to play along in order to prevent more trolling. Tell them that making a female avatar to have sex with men isn't going to make them straight, and that they might as well accept their homosexuality, and then kill themselves to burn in hell.
Notable Examples of Guy IRLs
Many Second Life Users have been outted as Guy IRLs either by other users, or by themselves (dumbasses), but none other than SuzukaYoumu. This particular Guy IRL is one of the sorriest, emoest, faggiest Guy IRLs ever, and warrants a special place on this article just for him. So what makes this particular douchebag special (other than he's an autistic, basement-dwelling brony) is how much he blatantly defines the very stereotype of a Guy IRL.
- His avatar looks like shit. A fucking generic kemono with FULL BRIGHT HAIR, Green Eyes that don't match the cyan fur at all, and an ALL black outfit to show how "creative" and "deep" he is. Prior to the screenshot, was seen in rainbow armwarmers and legwarmers but was trolled out of wearing them (lol). Also, nice big tits, jerkoff.
- Often idles on tip jars to try and trick unsuspecting males into giving him linden dollars. Despite being called out for being a Guy IRL, he simply moves to another stripper pole AS IF THAT'S GONNA FOOL US.

Basically guilt trips all CG Club users into donating linden so that CG Club can stay open mostly because no one goes there to actually donate anyway.
- Jack Skellington (ventisan) - Jack is internet proof of actual imbreeding. He's so retarded that if you agree with him on anything he still thinks you're trying to pick a fight with him and will TAKE YOU ON BRO ONE ON ONE to prove his manliness. Also an owner at CG Club and a member of the retard club. Also, it's pretty certain that Jack is one of Milkee's alts.

He's also overly sensitive and a total fucking beta, will most likely die a virgin unless he ever succeeds in raping his sister in her sleep.
- Tɧε Oŋε Aŋđ Oŋℓγ Aŋŋąɓεℓℓε (wehavetosavemarf) - One might think Annabelle was a girl irl had it not been for her profile which just blatantly gives it all away. His scam falls apart with the first mention of being a fan of lolicon, which no girl is into, thus proving he's a male. His first life profile claims he was a girl since he was 10 and is "vagina verified" but as stated above, despite sexual organs, a guy irl is a guy irl. The mind of a man cannot be surgically whisked away. Typical white male pedophile lolicon deviant and one who pretends he's a girl on the internet and even in real life, taking it a step further than most Guy IRLs.

Notable Examples of Males who have been scammed by Guy IRLs
There have been NUMEROUS examples of males online who have fallen for Guy IRLs, the most notable being faggots who got 0wned on To catch a predator. The horrible tragedy behind males who fall victim to the scam of Guy IRLs is that they are then gay from that point on. That's right! Being gay is not a choice! By falling for a pretty good Guy IRL scam, such as cyber sex RP in exchange for linden dollars, the scammed individual just had sex with a Guy IRL and is gay now. Even if the cybersex was between a man (scamee) and a woman (scammer/Guy IRL) avatar, and appears straight, it's gay. What Guy IRLs seem to fail to notice is that they TOO are gay now, because they had sex with a man. Making a female avatar to have sex with a man doesn't excuse the fact that you're still having sex with a man, which makes you gay. While many on Second Life have fallen for scams, there are those in particular who REPEATEDLY fall for the same scams over and over (LOL), and should be noteworthy of being a total fucking retard. Also note that all men below are GAY now.
- Flexay - This guy is the prime definition of a gay male who gets scammed on a regular basis by Guy IRLs. This stupid dumbfuck constantly hits on EVERY female avatar he sees, which for the most part are all Guy IRLs, making him gay. Often SUPER EMOTIONAL when you call him out on getting scammed by Guy IRLs, but is just refusing to accept his newly acquired homosexuality.
- Ex1st3d (theexistedhim) - Stupid fucking male that hits on every fucking female he sees, and often falls for Guy IRL scams, making him gay. He also claims to be youtube.com/videogames but he's not. No matter what he says, he's not.
- ŞŦŘØŇǤ Jєssiє (jessie032.vyper) - One of bakapantsu's reoccurring victims, this dumb fuck continuously donates his linden dollars to avatars on tip jars he THINKS is female. Despite others telling him countless times he's donating to actual male IRLs, he continue to do it. He also looks like a total fucking weaboo piece of shit and does nothing positive for the world.
- Corn (cornyflowerz) - One of the WORST people ever to exist, this fucking stupid smelly dumbass piece of shit is fucking gay, and sucks cocks. He is banned from a list of sims that would make a sexual predator registry look miniscule for being a failtroll and bumping into people. He also sounds like sanic for no reason, and makes gestures of himself because he's a self indulgent, egotistical dumbfuck. He's also a shotacon and claims he is because "his gurlfrend likes shotas huhuhuh" which is bullshit due to the fact that No women are pedophiles and there are no girls on the internet.
- pennybunny - an internet shittalker that things he's fucking cool, but IRL is actually a 40 year old man who never married, had kids, and dwells in his parents basement trying to date girls online. Often goes to animu sims and falls for Guy IRLs, lol.
- Hamster (hamsterparty) - Hamster for whatever reason SEEKS out Guy IRLs to have his way with. It's as if it's his fetish or some shit, which still makes him gay regardless. He is a troll and buttbuddy of cornyflowerz. Rumor has it they both suck Puppy's virtual cock for free stuff.
- 弁当箱 (tacticallunchbox) - Prime example of INTERNET TOUGH GUY. Also hits on every person he sees and constantly swears to hide what a fuckin pussy he is. IRL is a nerdy sickly white male who wears briefs, and has admitted to FUCKING HIS DOG ON WEBCAM. Most likely a closet homo, but since he falls for Guy IRLs all the time, he most definitely is one.
- Dark Agna (xxanvilxx) - In addition to having the gayest emo name on Second Life, is a straight femboy beta male, who refuses to accept his rank on the food chain and often becomes an internet tough guy when an alpha male arrives, in order to prove his manliness. Due to his beta male nature will often take whatever leftovers the alphas leave behind and is willing to settle for the most unconvincing of Guy IRLs, including bakapantsu and genkouhande (who is just bakapantsu on an alt) making him a thirsty, typically willing internet faggot. When asked one likeable aspect of his person by bystanding witness, they wen't brb and never returned.
- oKurisuo - Prime example of a beta male, wearing all black and often trying to orchestrate a harem of bitches. He usually goes for the weakest, most vulnerable of bitches since he isn't man enough to tackle the real prey, but often falls for Guy IRLs in his desperation for e-pussy.
- Madison (madsava) - Mastodon here is a pretty cool guy, and is actually kinda fun to be around. It's too bad he's now a homosexual for falling for a Guy IRL scam by his partner Dollhips, who is most definitely a man. Unfortunately for Madeline as he now goes by, all his hetero street cred is now gone.
- ßαsτ (bastyan.guardian) - Complete carbon copy of oKurisuo. A beta male who wears all black and looks emo to try and score 13 year old weak minded females. He's a total bitch. Nothing good about him.
- Soulicyde Resident: ED User: Nycifix: Gorephobe furfag with no life ahead of himself. Dwells in a basement all day, wishing for some yiff. So desperately finds it with Guy IRLs.
- Wolfy Tamesis (wolfman579) - Regularly engages yiff with notable Guy IRLs, such as Sora who is mentioned in above section. Digs the idea of pregnant herms and gets off on hypertits and hyperass, the perfect ideal qualities that are normally found with avatars disguised as Guy IRL.
Girl IRLs
While it breaks Rule 30 of the internet, some girls do venture onto Second Life, but they are always fat, ugly bitches, or have kids. Sometimes these females can be hard to identify, but as mentioned above they will often be left over from identifying Guy IRLs. Females tend to not move or jump as much as males, and are often whining fucking tattle tales. That's right, if you harass one, they WILL tell an admin on you and get you BANNED from the sim. Girl IRLs, regardless of how much is seems can be trusted, cannot, and will always post your SEX LOGS from IM history in a notecard and send it to EVERYBODY. Girl IRLs will sometimes be in a lesbian couple with Guy IRLs, and will go out of their way to defend their "girlfriend's" freedom of gender, like it fucking matters.
GIRL IRLs DON'T WANT YOUR MALE ATTENTION!!!, so be sure to give as much of it as possible, but beware of White Knights!
Girl IRLs unlike Guy IRLs aren't interested in scamming the opposite gender. As a matter of fact, Girl IRLs hide as "non female avatars" to avoid male attention, despite not getting anyway because they're disgusting IRL. Spotting a Girl IRL is pretty easy. It all comes down to spotting an avatar that isn't a troll avatar, or an avatar that isn't made to be sexually attractive. Girl IRLs will often wear avatars that conceal gender, rather than exploit it, and many will claim they are "genderfluid" or "asexual" when they clearly still want it, but just have given up trying.

- ღSenpaiღ (gothicerza) - A bitch who constantly hides behind gundam or other boy-anime avatars. Claims to be a fan of Dragon Ball Z which is false, since she's female. Her life is run by her BF, whose a total insecure dick whose afraid someone will steal his girlfriend away (like all males), and she also bans anyone from YIFF simply if her BF (who isn't an admin) doesn't like them.
