QOTN Suggestion: dat accomplishment

So I was standing in a rather large line at my local Wal-Mart today behind a couple families that I know from when I went to church with my family in year younger. It was the only register open so there wasn't much of another option to get my 12 pack of Mountain Dew for a party I was heading to. I was wondering why the line was going nowhere when I decided to poke my head up front to see what the holdup was. It was a little old lady who didn't have enough for her groceries and she was trying to talk the cashier into letting her get away with being short. This struck me as odd until I found out she was a mere $0.21 short of her purchase. Now all these families were just staring and there was even two making fun of her. I walked up and handed my soda to the cashier, handed him a $5 and told her to keep the change. One of the middle aged women (I knew these people, so I also knew that they all make over 6 digits) grabbed her kid and yelled very loudly, "See that man? He's acting just like Jesus wants us to." For some reason this set me off, so I turned around. I haven't shaved in awhile so I'm rocking some nice scruff, a Slayer shirt, and gym shorts, so it must have been a nice sight. Very loudly, I said "Like Jesus? Ma'am I'm an atheist who makes minimum wage and I was the one who stepped up to help her? Your hypocritical Christianity is an inspiration to us all." As I stormed out, a couple of the cart boys started to whistle and cheer, soon shoppers joined in and even the cashier. Opposite Inflammatory/Trollish Redirects

Instead of linking Gay porn and homoerotica to the pr0n page it might be lulzier to have them redirect to the GRIDS page instead. That could be done with some others too, like link Child Molester to the Adult Baby page, or link Baby Toys to the Lego page, or link Furry Pride to Bestiality. I have no problem at all with people adding inflammatory/trollish redirects, I would encourage it actually, but also just remember only when it's like really going to be funny/trollish. iirc what Junius did was take free images from somewhere on the internet and upload them here. the images were uploaded by JT on or after November 29, 2011, and the commons logs show that this was after they were deleted from commons. the lesson here is that wikipedia doesnt want EDiots to edit wikipedia transparently. in any case, the choice between wikipedia and ED is not a hard one to make, and besides, if you must edit wikipedia, you can always use socks. it's not as hard as i thought. -hipcrime 22:52, 22 July 2012 (EDT)

Category Suggestion?

I was thinking that the ED gods could possibly create a category about history? I know there are already many articles that poke fun at historical events like the Civil War, the two World Wars, Nazi Germany and others; I just feel that they need their own History category. Plus, there are many other events in history that could be fun for us to take the piss out of. For examples, trolling articles about the disastrous sinking of the RMS Titanic, the Great Depression, the Black Plague, the pawning of the Native Americans and the Irish Potato Famine could be lulzfests. Yay or nay?
