Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is a computer that thinks it's a person, so it's like a robot or cars or Twitter or something. If you strap enough graphics cards to your laptop it will be able to do anything you want; solutions to any problem, automation, drawing pornography, it can do it all.

Of course, we have some time before the computers take over but instead of formulating solutions, we've been celebrating, encouraging and theorising what life will be like when the computers take over.

Journalists aren't safe either. New robots can write in a journalistic style, and can create articles that don't exist. They're mostly cohesive, although sometimes repetitive. Give it some time, and the machines will be able to write news articles on the latest events the moment they happen, or summarize opinions on the latest game or films. This endangers real journalists, and Buzzfeed journalists, who may no longer be able to write "Top 10 reasons you should suck dick as a straight man.". Gaming news might also have struggles competing against the machines, if unbiased games journalism becomes common place, how will articles like "Lara Croft needs to be trans" survive?
