What!? 9,000!?

IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND! or just Over 9,000 was an over-used meme that was started by the Japanese anime show Dragon Ball Z, where characters would use Scouters to detect power levels. This meme was cuntpasted many, many times and it's not funny anymore. Some argue that "OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND" is the new challenger of "at least 100", but they don't realize that "OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND" is a 4chan meme and that it, like all 4chan memes, got stale at most one week after its creation due to repetitive abuse, if not because it wasn't funny from the beginning. This meme has even been used by basketball legend Michael Jordan saying "I've missed OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND shots...and that's why I'm successful." Unsurprisingly, this meme has been used over nine thousand times. It did, however, achieve epic status in what is arguably the greatest troll evar, when Oprah was tricked in to saying "over 9,000 penises" despite the troll's obvious nature.

"Over 9,000" is also recreated in the Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit video game. It was also recreated in its prequel, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3", but no one gives a shit about that game.

It's Over 9,000! the book was published on September 9, 2009, explaining the meme and analyzing Goku and Vegeta's psychological worldviews.

When searching "Over 9,000" on TOW, Project Chanology appears as the third hit. No one knows why.

The original meme went something like this:

Too bad he probably didn't spend any of his precious time memorizing all of the content on Encyclopedia Dramatica before it was crushed by the landwhale-woman, Girlvinyl. But oh wait, Encyclopedia Dramatica.ch's slogan is actually Nothing of Value Was Lost, so that means ED's content was probably not worth his time remembering in the first place.
